So I've always been an avid watcher of gameplay recorded either for contests, tips/secrets, or for promotional aspects. With the current efflux of skill-based games like Guitar Hero/Rock Band, fighting games, and most recently for me: games like Demon's Souls (which a particular video strategy for the 4-1 BP helped tremendously), I have found a huge desire to record gameplay of my own.
I had a little device a couple of years ago, the name escapes me right now, but it allowed me to link my 360 to my PC and record via USB-to-composite hookups. The quality was 'meh', and I had to play in a very small, non-HD window on my pc. Not the best of solutions. I'd really like to be able to record an HD quality video.
I'm sure many of you on here have methods of your own, or have heard of said methods. I'm curious as to how others record footage, and what the best options are as far as price vs. quality of picture.
