The IGF (Independent Games Festival) is a long running celebration of indie video games.

Indie developers submit their games, and then a panel of judges award prizes for various categories. Previous notable winners include: Everyday Shooter, Castle Crashers, Audiosurf, Machinarium, Darwinia, World of Goo, Braid, Aquaria, Crayon Physics Deluxe, and many many more.

The list of entries for 2010 has just gone live, and can be seen here.

The game of the film Innerspace, it's sort of like a shmup inside a body.

This thread is a bit barebones right now. I'll add information about the games, and links to download the games/demos for the ones that have it available later.

I've heard of AaaaaaaAAaaAaaaaaAa if only because I've seen it advertised on Steam. Haven't played it though. But it does have a great name.

Edit: I take it back...THIS is a great name: Don't Shit Your Pants

Is Heroes of Newerth seriously an entrant? Isn't that game basically a glorified DotA reskin that doesn't even pretend to be a game of its own?

Huh, they even have Achron listed there, the time-traveling RTS that looks pretty fucking cool (and confusing).
