    It is promising. I'm liking some of what is going on but man the way they are handling some of the characters and stuff in it is... a bit much.

    I think it might end up alright. Lots of shows are shaky when they start out.

    Well the original was a mini-series so I would assume it would be the same

    e: but it does seem like it has been a long time since a major network has done anything that wasn't a hopeful series. Except they did make a crappy tv movie a little ways back that gave me hope

    The old mini-series/series has been showing on Syfy since Saturday or Sunday I believe. I wish I knew sooner that the first episode of the remake was on tonight.

    They seem to be willing to speed up the story since we already know a lot of it
    And there were no mysteries that threaten to get all byzantine and ridiculous
