I have to give a quick little presentation tomorrow on the benefits vs. risks of abortion.
I went on abortionfacts.com, which turns out to be a mega conservative site, which pisses me off to no end. WIkipedia has some information, but doesn't really go into pros and cons as much as it does what it is and how it works.
I poked around some more but almost everything led me back to either bias studies, mental health issues, and so on. While those are all important, I kind of need the medical advantages/dis advantages.
Specifically disadvantages.

NIH funds research, it doesn't publish it. All NIH funded research is available at Pubmed, but given the recent political climate you have to weed through some really biased study designs to find the decent research on this topic. I would use the guttmacher site to look at research done in other countries where the topic is seen as more medical and less political.
