Finished PW2. Man, that last case was pretty long, but it was pretty awesome. I still can't believe I didn't get to catch De Killer though. Also, I techincally lost, since I got a Guilty verdict. But I still obtained THE TRUTH.
The manga releases in the U.S., are they the official comics or fan ones? I heard conflicting stuff on the matter. If anyone has them, are they any good?
Phoenix Wright has comics? Like, official comics? Official translated comics?
I gotta get me some o' dat.
I believe they're fanmade, but officially approved or somesuch. Authorized doujinshi, I believe would be a way of describing it; approved by Capcom, but not a part of the game series' canon.

Okay, breezed through 2-1. It was nice slapping that punk Wellington down.
On 2-2, and this spirit channeling thing is going to go oh so wrong... Definitely seems like this is going to be the first real case with some moral ambiguity in it.
Also ran into Lotta Hair again...
I gotta say, getting wrong answers in these games are almost better than getting them all right first off the bat.
Then again I was never a very good mormon, and did end up leaving the church. (Though purely for historical/doctrinal issues, I would have been fine continuing to live as a jack-mormon if It wasn't for that.)
That am true, spoiler'd; now spoiler your quote, yo.
Of course, this is the legal system that has (1-3 or possibly 1-4, i forget)
Put a parrot on the witness stand, so
I guess it's something that each judge decides individually. Or something.
Man, I wonder if Phoenix has normal cases in between the big ones where he just does stuff that is non-murdery. Like, say, a little casual larceny or vandalism, or even some civil cases or something. I don't remember it being confirmed either way.

That's one thing that bugs me about these games...
...it's always about murder. Even when it's not, it will be.
...in the first three, at least.

They actually started to do that in the later games. You start a case and no one has died yet. You go do a regular thing and then everything goes to shit.
Okay, finished 2-2 and... I gotta say, I didn't feel much sympathy for the perp in this case.
It WAS Mini's fault for killing those patients and her sister due to HER negligence. The doctor was a jerk, but being a jerk isn't illegal. Yelling at people isn't illegal. If she was so stressed, she should have quit and found another profession or position under a DIFFERENT doctor. There was no reason for her to STAY there if it compromised her health or the health of her patients other than stupidity or pride. Killing a man simply to prevent him from revealing your own selfish 'new start' isn't justifiable in anyone's mind but the 'victim's'. It wasn't really the morally ambiguous case I was looking for... yet.
This new magician looks like an escapee from Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure.
Oh yeah, and this Psychlock gimmick? I hate it. Too much trial and error. I can see how they were trying to make the investigations more interesting. But running around back and forth because you don't have enough evidence to crack a particular lock is frustrating in the extreme.

Really? I thought most of the Psyche Locks were easy. There are maybe two hard ones in PW2 and like 3 in PW3.
The Mia one in particular I just resorted to trial and error. I kept trying to point out the
bloody cloth could have come from the bullet hole in the dress. Which made perfect sense to me. It turned out it was the freaking KEY. While it made sense, I thought my explanation was equally plausible.
Oh God, and don't get me started on the pedo fake Docor. Worst, character, ever.

Heck sometimes I intentionally hold back on saying something weird hoping to get that top spot.
Tell me about it... I know a couple of girls that are convinced that Arthur and Merlin are totally gay for each other on the BBC Merlin show.
Yes, all of us.
But yeah, I mean, it depends on what is "pornographic" to you. I see an ad on a bus that can give me dirty thoughts, is that porn?

Still, enjoyable. Pity there aren't any serious cases though - I'd kill for an entirely serious manga case. The possibilities are awesome.
They really abuse the Kurain Channelling Technique though. And I mean really.
Japan.

Still, it had a couple of alright one-shots.
Hahahaha Phoenix's hair.
What was balls?

Did I break science
Oh wow didn't see this
Yeah, I made it, same with the ORLY owl gant.
Definitely gonna be using my new tablet to redo this
Nope, but that makes you either a woman or a liar.
That's right, science broke YOU.

From back in days of yore, and MSPaint
Also oops mixed up ORLY and YARLY
WHY DOES NO ONE NOTICE THE SIX YEAR OLD GIRL SPROUTING A D CUP AND FEATURES OF A 30 SOMETHING LAWYER!
Oh Japan. What won't you do to get us sexually aroused to children?
not quite big enough.

In fairness, it doesn't do that until undeniable proof that the channeling technique is legitimate is presented.

At least it's not as bad as some fictional detectives, say Poirot.
I mean, a strong breeze blows and some one dies.
Or in the anime/manga realm, Detective Conan and Kindaichi. There's at least one murder per episode, and Conan's been running since 1994.
Imagine the carnage that would ensue if they were to ever team up...
Umm... imagine the carnage if they teamed up with Phoenix Wright!
