I didn't really care for Godot, though he is better than Klavier by a longshot.

I liked Klavier
because for the first time it seemed like the prosecutor was actually interested in finding the truth, too. Maybe gameplay-wise that's not so interesting, but I thought it was cool.

Edgeworth objects! He also wants what was in your spoiler! [tiny]sometimes[/tiny]

Edgeworth and Godot were like that, too, they just weren't as in-your-face about it. They came through for you when they needed to, but the rest of the time they remembered that their job was to prosecute. What tends to bug me about Klavier is he's all "LOOK AT ME I'M A ROCKSTAR AND A LAWYER AREN'T I THE MOST PERFECT PERSON EVER" and then half the time he acts like you're co-defense attorneys instead of opponents.
Yeah guys, Gumshoe is totally useless. The dumb schtick gets old after a while, especially because he never does his job or save your ass.
I should probably stop doing this
I love how pretty much every character besides Moe in PW2 is just an annoying douchebag with no redeeming qualities. The cast of characters in this game is pretty lackluster, and it does make the final case a bit of a slog.
In the middle of the "hopeless" case with Steel Samurai. I'm currently tearing Nerdtard Otaku a new one on the stands.
I can already see a pretty key piece of evidence, but I don't know when I'll get to use it.
Clearly, the path from studio 2 to 1 is not in the camera's line of sight, and I highly doubt a simple monkey head could keep the murderer from using it.
Also, do you get penalized for accusing someone other than Oldhag in the first part of the trial? I almost accused the geek girl until I realized Oldhag had no back up for her Alibi.
Also, to the person lamenting not being able to get into case 5 earlier in the thread - case 5 is basically the length of the rest of the game combined. But at the same time, it's very well paced to build to a climax. So you start slow, meet lots of new people, and then it builds and builds and builds to something great. I was bogged down at first, too. Keep going

Wow, sounds impressive.
Anyway, squeaked by the interrogation of Cody Hackins with one (!) left. I kept trying to show the photo of the witness to try to convince him it wasn't the same person, but that didn't work. Thankfully, I didn't screw up any of the multiple choice questions.
Gotta love screaming, "YOU COULDN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!" to a 10 year kid and making him cry.
I was glad there was at least one instance of Phoenix using absurd logic to make a point. Something about a baseball is all I can remember, but it cracked my shit up.

You're more honest than I am. I just save anytime I'm unsure if I'm thinking too far ahead when I present evidence. If it turns out I was, I reset and load.
I'm not going to re-read all of that text if I fail.

The second game is far less idealistic than the first and the last case really hammers in that point. The victims are often huge douchebags too.
Moe? You mean glasses cop? I played around with that for a few minutes before going back to PW1. She seemed nice enough. Though I'm wondering if this amnesia thing is going to stick. (DON'T ANSWER THAT)

No Moe's a witness from a later case. People are intentionally loading you up with disinformation.
That was awesome teaming up with Edgeworth to doubleteam Vasquez. Not totally unexpected, but you see his desire for 'absolute' justice being changed somewhat by Phoenix. It was a good 'day in the life' case for the story. Not epic, but shows the kinds of stuff Phoenix would probably usually deals with.
And holy carp part deux, Edgeworth blows a punk away? With what looks like a THOR .45-70? As if he couldn't get any more hardcore. I'm betting on a SECRET PAST, with TRAGIC REPERCUSSIONS, ROARING REVENGE and THE NATURE OF JUSTICE discussions.
This is so exciting seeing someone play through the series for the first time.. I just recently played through the series myself. (I only got a DS in March or April), and it was a completely amazing story throughout all three games.)
I'm excited to buy them all again for Wii because my partner refuses to play games on a handheld, and I know she would dig them.

Wait what.
How are Tyler Durden and Godot alike in any way at all.

That doesn't help me at all.
I'm not sure who it is yet, but one of us is being really dumb here and it is leading to a failure of communication.

How can you be so mean.
He just.. he just tries so hard. He's like a retarded little puppy.

It would be nice if he actually helped out once in a blue... lifetime.
So if I want to get him out of my hair I just have to throw a donut into the middle of traffic?

Oh, weird, some anime lawyer game showed up, maybe you should play it for a few minutes and see what it's like...
