Well I mean, if you look at that quote, it's not exactly a confirmation. Not that we needed one.

If you've seen the behind the scenes videos, working at Naughty Dog is so fucking intimidating. It's a small team and everyone is a fucking superstar in their field. You should basically kill yourself if you fuck up.

Even if they do start production this year, I wouldn't expect to see it before 2012 (hopefully before the world explodes).

Although, who knows? What with all these silicon chips and such.

So I finally picked up 2 and played through it this weekend.

That was a pretty good game. Set piece after set piece.

There were a few little story issues I had and some of the end battles are just down right not fun but on the whole a really solid experience.
Those blue guys just suck to fight. It is possibly to make challenging enemies that are fun to fight, like the ninjas from the first half life, but they choose to go the "I have a zillion hit points" approach instead.

Also, why does Drake continue to search for Shambuliha once he gets the dagger from Chloe? If he is so eager to protect the place why doesn't he get the dagger as far away from generic Russian big bad as possible?

He keeps looking for it because he's not eagar to protect it at first (in fact, I don't think he's aware it needs protecting near the beginning). Originally, he's just looking for a big expensive rock that Marco Polo had.

Yeah but this is way after he knows it needs protecting. He goes and retrieves the dagger from Chloe at gun point and then instead of leaving the camp continues to look for the hidden entrance even though it is the dumbest thing he can do at that point.

I'm currently playing through this right now. I'm so glad that I did a media black out on this. So many :O moments.

I was cracking up when you first meet up with Elena again, and all the crap they were talking back and forth.

Soon as one of the first big gun fights happens with them, Elena's camera guy is like "is it always like this with him?" (as I'm shooting dudes in the head left and right) and she's all "yea pretty much".

I'm doing my first play through right now on Hard and loving every bit of it :)

So, I've played through this on normal and loved it, currently replaying on hard atm (plan to go through on crushing at some point too, want to get a platinum ideally). I've tried the MP, but have yet to try any coop, is that any good? The arena mode is sort of horde mode/firefight right? What about the other coop?

Coop is a lot of fun if you can find decent people to play it with.

I really wouldn't mind if they introduced some really bad ass character models. Not from other games (monsters and such seem a bit much).

But I wouldn't mind stuff kind of akin to cool looking characters in Modern Warfare, Splinter Cell, Indiana Jones.
As opposed to just characters from UC1.

Well then, I guess my photoshop sighting skills are bad. I totally thought some of those leaked screens were 'shopped. Since that first thing was pretty spot on, I'm guessing that, as of now, the other things leaked are pretty true, too. They might change a bit, but that's pretty cool. Also, 7 skins for 5 bucks isn't terrible, compared to other DLC packs. I don't know if I'll buy it, though, since I'd rather save my money for maps.

Just beat my first play through on Hard a few days back. Loved every bit of it. Finally I can go through and read all your spoilers :)
Honestly I like that the Uncharted universe always has a twist to "reality". Zombies in the first one seemed "out of place"... at first, but now after playing Uncharted 2, I realize that the Uncharted world allows "myths" to become "real". Also, golden crossbows ftw. :)

My PS3 froze on me. I had work the next day and had been up too late already ... I'll admit though I soo wanted to boot the game up again. Very awesome experience so far.

One thing though ... while not a big deal I've actually noticed alot of bugs while playing through the singleplayer campaign ... fallen through the map at least 3 times now and had system lock ups twice.

With that said the game is alot of fun and I'm willing to overlook the bugs all things considered.
