The ClassesThe Slayer: Sword user. Uses swords, katanas and light sabres(!).
Subclasses:
Berserker: Does mega damage and makes enemies bleed at the cost of his own health. Drains the life of bleeding enemies that he kills.
Blademaster: Only class to use Light sabres. Attacks fast. Super fast. Godly at PVP.
Soul Bender: Shadow damage specialist.
Asura: Spell caster with long range aoe spells. Also becomes blind when you class change?
The Fighter: Uses gauntlets, tonfas, claws and epic midriff. Probably has the most moves taken out of Street Fighter.
Subclases:
Striker: Only class to use boxing gloves. Straight up hard hitter. Has a Shoryuken and hurricane kick.
Grappler: Grab specialist. Has a spinning piledriver and Cammy's kick throw.
Nen Master: My 2nd Main. Specializes in light damage. Spell caster/buffer. Has kikoshous and hadokens. Great at PVE
Brawler: Dirty fighter. Uses poisons and traps. Has an epic takedown attack where she tackles them and beats their face in. Also can throw bricks and items at fools.
The Gunner: Long range fighter. Dominates low level pvp since he gets great moves early on. You might hate them because of this.
Subclasses:
Ranger: The most mobile class, has run AND gun moves.
Launcher: Launcher as in "Grenade Launcher" not as in "launch into air". Has huge guns, cannons and flamethrowers.
Spitfire: Has enhanced bullets and grenades, great AOE for PVE.
Mechanic: A summoner of sorts. Calls on robots to help him. They start as small toy robots that explode and later upgrade to laser canons and satellite beams.
The Priest: Probably the least populous class. As such, they're all high and mighty about it. Still, pretty nice to have around. Uses crosses, totems, scythes and rosaries.
Monk: A hand to hand physical specialist. Implants weapon into ground as an AOE buff and uses fists of fury to unleash big combos.
Crusader: Party specialist. Has amazing buffs and a limited amount of heals.
Exorcist: I don't know much about them, but they seem pretty versitile. They also get the Star in the Sky skill, which is pretty awesome.
The Mage. My favorite class though probably the hardest class to start off with due to her low defense. Uses poles, spears, staffs and rods.
Subclasses:
Elemantalist: Pure caster. Has 4 elemental trees for huge AOE and long range damage.
Summoner: Incredibly slow to start, but becomes unrivaled at PVE at higher levels. Summons various spirits and monsters to fight for her. Plus she can whip them to make them stronger. Ha.
Battle Mage: My main.
her. Uses "chasers" which are small balls of energy that follow her around and can be launched at enemies to juggle them and also give her buffs.
Witch: A strange class. Uses Brooms and is the most mobile of all mages. Higher level spells do AOE dmg and a random effectiveness ranging from dud, normal and awesome.

FAQ:
What is this fatigue point business?
Every day your fatigue meter is filled to the maximum of 156 points. You lose one point for every room of a dungeon you go in. Once you are out of Fatigue points, you can no longer enter dungeons. The blue meter on the bottom of the screen shows how much you have left. It refills at 6AM PST.
How do I get more coins?
You get 3 automatically at 6AM PST. These are not cumulative. If you have one token left, you'll get two. If you have three left, you'll get 0. Don't bother saving them.
What's the level limit?
USA's is currently 40, so not all skills are available. Korea's is 60. At level 48 your class awakens and gets an "awakening" move that is super powerful.
What are these cubes for?
Cubes are used for quest items and also are needed for some classes to class change. Don't sell them.
How can I look different?
Avatar items are available to be purchased through Nexon cash (see also: real money). The current system is like a toy machine, you give put in money and you get a random item for that avatar item spot (top, bottom, hat etc). So you might not get what you want. You can also buy them from other players, but they usually cost a lot of gold.
How can I buy health potions?
You can't. Just farm lower level dungeons or do repeatable quests offered by the Elf girl in the Tavern. You can buy them from player shops, but they're usually overpriced.
Are there Guilds?
There are in the Korean version, but they have yet to be implemented.
Whats the Noob o Meter?
If you complete a dungeon with a party member 7 or more levels above you, your meter increases, which supposedly decreses your exp rates.
This is my wiki of choice at the moment and has lots of info. Feel free to ask any questions though.
If people are interested, maybe we can get some party action going. 4 person max in a party, but the more the merrier. There's only one server at the moment, so we should all be able to play. I'd be willing to supply some low level rares to people too.
What do you say we take a relaxed attitude towards work and watch the baseball game? The nye Mets are my favorite squadron.

It does feel great playing with a controller though. Fighter and Thief are really the only characters I care about. Problem is I want to play all the fighter subclasses.
I had to stop playing it because of the Fall gaming season, but I'll be back later I'm sure.
Hell Justin Wong [Best American fighting game player] plays this.
I'm not sure what to make of that. Does that imply that the netcode is good enough for serious fighters to get into it? Or just that Justin Wong enjoys games that don't require professional expertise?
He doesn't play it for PVP. It's just and old school beat-em-up like Final Fight.
At least I don't think he plays it for pvp....just read his blog about it.
I really wouldn't read too much into it.
pve is kind of fun though.
PvP is ok, I don't see anything horribly bad about it. Sure gunners are overpowered early on, but it tends to level off some in the mid lvl20s or so.
In PVP, if the opponent is off screen, there is a name marker showing his horizontal position. If you're fighting a gunner, and that marker is in-line with you, you better believe he's going to try to mow you down. You can use this to bait him to use his chaingun, so you can avoid and close distance. How much distance depends on how good the gunner is, or whether he's trying to bait you with one his close rage moves (Windmill, you're know it when you see it).
More info on the exp event. I've been busy with Dragon Age though so I haven't taken part. Today maybe.
Guess what they fixed?
EXP CURVE!
OMGOMGOMG.
They're calling it "Dawn of Retribution"
Also last month had some avatar item changes and now you can actually have a pretty sweet looking fighter/mage in schoolgirl clothes. More avatar clothes on the way.
I've been a bit busy lately so I haven't jumped in quite yet and don't know how it compares to korean/japanese exp rates, but I'll take what I can get!
PS. Anyone want to get me some Nexon cash for Christmas? (:
PvE is where it's at though.
Also, what controllers work with this game? If there's a way to get my TE stick to function, oh man...
i've heard people use 360 controllers
i think you can use a stick too, but i have no idea how to actually do so
if you're playing with a mouse and keyboard, using the built in setup is really weird
i found it way easier to play by hotkeying things like wow
I'd recommend this method - almost made me tear up thinking I was playing an oldschool beatum up at the arcade in the mall. That was closed down 10 years ago.
Aumni, you are the best at life. Gonna level so much faster doing QCFs for not-hadokens.
