I'm working on tweaking a jailbroken iPhone theme. I noticed the other day that almost all the default PNGs that came with the theme I'm starting with are in the 170kb range. When I simply open a file and resave it as a PNG it'll drop drastically, typically under 30kb. Problem is there are hundreds of files I have to do this with. I looked at the batch setup in Photoshop but I'm not really seeing a way to accomplish this. Anyone have a suggestion?
Open one of your PNGs. Go to your actions toolbar. Create a new action and hit record. Save your new PNG. End the action recording. Put all your PNGs that you want to resave into a folder. Go to File > Automate > Batch. Source Folder. Choose your PNG folder for the Source. Choose a folder for the destination, or it will probably ask to overwrite every time it saves. I think you will need to check the suppress options and also check the override action open commands. Choose your action from the drop down menu and click OK. It should then do all of the work for you.

Sorry for the wall of text.
The theme shipped with 600mb of garbage, but stripping it down has yielded a shitload of extra space.
