Both of which seemed like signs of great progress!

Now, corduroys

There is a consensus among the stylish that when it comes to corduroys, the wider the wale is, the more handsome

(the wale is the name of the fold or 'cord' of the fabric)

So why is it that all we ever see is pinwale?

    I have a really nice, fairly expensive pair of cords. I thnk they are actually for "dressing up"-- they have pleats, and they have an unfinished cuff, as though they are meant to be tailored. I have never worn them. I also have a couple of nice blazers and shirts that have never been worn. Everyone had high hopes when I finishing college.

    I'm still searching for a suede brush. I have searched several department stores, Wal-marts, Targets to no avail.
