    I, too, only work today and tomorrow this week. Wednesday's Remembrance Day, Friday is my EDO, and I will use the time I get for supervising the DAT this past Saturday to take Thursday off. Woo!

    Same. Except Friday is my CWS day and I'm just taking thursday off, because a 5 day weekend for 8 hours of leave is too good a deal to pass up.

    Idioms always make sense if you look at the origins of the "idiom". They just don't make immediate sense without the context. However, idioms rarely (if ever) change the meaning of a phrase to be the exact opposite of what the words mean.

    "I could care less" is actually kind of nice because you're letting that person know, "Hey, I don't really care THAT much, but there are some things I care less about!"

    Yeah, because the original phrase is "I couldn't care less", which makes perfect sense. Somehow, that got corrupted into the non-sensical "I could care less."
