inside of the capital, probably
the book actually isn't specific, it just suggests that the place is kind of 'radioactive' due to the proximity to a wyld zone

Remember, Thanatos, your Resplendent Destiny is being constantly tweaked by Pattern Spiders up in Heaven. Every time you do something out of character (like Yatta behaving exactly if she were Hakun, including being directly involved in an Infernal plot in Nexus), there's risk of earning Paradox as the spiders have to readjust the destiny.
I haven't been warning you which means there's no Paradox yet, but it's something to keep in mind.
Edit: Basically, a Resplendent Destiny isn't just a visual disguise -- it's a full on new person, and if you don't LARP as that person, it starts to fall apart.

If you're wearing a Resplendent Destiny, you kind of have to give up the "outside of Fate" thing -- otherwise the Pattern Spiders wouldn't be able to pin a false Destiny for you in the first place.

Right, but I'm plotting with the Infernals, who are outside of Fate.
So how can someone who is outside of Fate be causing me to generate Paradox?

Think of it like having big ol' "holes" in your destiny. The Pattern Spiders have to work around those holes, and that tends to irritate them somewhat. It doesn't so much matter who you're associating with, but that you're violating the destiny you chose for yourself when you created the Resplendent Destiny.
I think. Sidereals are confusing as all hell, really.

With resplendent destinies, you can be generating Paradox if you're acting out of character with nobody else around at all.
It doesn't work like Paradox in Mage. In this case, you've got a bunch of tiny gods working to build a cover for you, and every time you do something that doesn't fit with the cover, they get annoyed with having to change the Fate they're writing and bite you for it.
Hey guys. Sorry I haven't done anything in the thread over the weekend. Was with the family having a pre-Christmas party with my sister since she's only in town for a week or two. Next weekend will be the same with the other side of the family.
Got a badass sword cane though. Hee!
I'll get back to posting soon.

Because Rainfall's running out of motes and mentioned it in her last post:
Anytime you've got to roll some dice, if you describe it and it's cool, it's a 1 die stunt, and you can apply that yourself, don't need me to tell you.
If you're doing a thing and you describe and it's cool and you include something that fleshes out the scene or involved some aspect of the environment, it's a 2 dice stunt, and you can account for that on your own, too.
Use good judgment 'cuz I don't wanna have to veto stunts.

If you feel I'm screwing myself out of a stunt die, feel free to roll it for me. I'm not going to complain. :P

I meant to edit this stuff in yesterday but the forums went down and I don't want people to miss it:
Edit: Does Hakun's present Destiny 'read' as having tells of high Breeding (ie, would people recognize her as a Dragon-Blood?) Naturally, Resplendent Destinies don't actually change your appearance, but if her destiny is to be a recognizable Dragon-Blood ...
Edit: Krata, roll me a roll that seems appropriate for finding someone (or some place) in a city. I'm thinking Int + Survival, but if you can think of something more appropriate and convincing, that'd work, too.
Edit: Hotran, I haven't forgotten about you. I think you're in the inn/tavern also, probably witnessing Rihanis' dance?
I went with Intelligence + Investigation, as I figure mechanically speaking searching for someone's workshop, home, and/or person in the district they work in isn't that different from searching from a book in a library, which is an example use of Investigation.
I can reroll with Survival if that's not good 'nuff.

Alright, I'm going to check in on this on the 2nd of January. Then we'll figure out if everyone is around and can commit to a fairly regular posting schedule, and go from there. This game has been floundering, I haven't heard from hotran at all in over a month, and if nobody's into it any longer, it's probably best to put it down -- we'll see.

@Krata: You're going to discover that there is a dude named Urik around, and he does indeed work at a smithy. The fellow you managed to find who had this information informed you that nope, he's not really much of a smith.
"He's kind of ... slow," he said.
@Everyone: Tomorrow's January 2nd. I need to know where y'all stand on keeping this moving,n ow.

The Wyld kind of seeps out around that and the neighborhoods around Firewander tend to create mutants.
