Hey guys, I'm Podly. I more-or-less post in D&D, but I need to have some design work done for me (paid) and I figured I'd see if anyone here was interested. It would be logo and myspace design for my music production gig. Should I pursue in the [chat] thread, or in the questions thread?
What's going on, guys? Hope that everyone is doing well and all you yanks are happy about your Thanksgiving coming up. In the spirit of x-mas, I got myself one of these as an early present to myself.
I don't know what the rules are any more. Will giving you enough info to find the site get me jailed? Anyway, if you assemble the words 'thick' and 'mom' into some kind of url, you will find the troublesome area.
I'll know more as soon as I turn this paperwork in that they emailed me yesterday. I'm going to drop it off in person, since I don't have a fax machine.
In other news, does anyone know why AVG will get stuck on the boot sector of my D drive? The D drive is the recovery drive, and its just started happening in the last couple days.

Nope. It's probably just some weird link aggregator then, or maybe someone's av, or something. I just wanted to make sure no-one was whacking off to pictures of me in a moustache.

I don't mind the free time that comes with not having a job, but not having money sucks hardcore. I moved in with my mum, grandma, and little sister because I lost my job back in February. I had a job for like five weeks at the start of September, making sandwiches at some friends' cafe, but business was declining to the point that we agreed it would be best to let me go. At least until business returned to normal, but it hasn't, and doesn't look like it will at this rate. So it not only sucks for me, but for my two friends (brothers) who own the cafe.
In what fucking universe does 11:20 am fit into the "WE WILL TRY AGAIN TOMORROW AT 2:00 - 5:00 PM" box you checked yesterday on the slip you left on my door? Because I would have been there, at 2-5 pm today, had you actually fucking shown up then, instead of, as it would happen 11 fucking 20 fucking am, you lying fucking cunts.
I never got that about American delivery services. At home they'll just stick things behind a potplant and hope for the best.
Here they have a nifty system though - if you miss the delivery, they leave you a thingy with a barcode and then there's a set of lockers at the post-office, open 24 hours, and when you scan your barcode one of the locker doors swings open (you never know which one it's going to be!) and there's your package! It's so much fun.
There's usually a thing where you can accept liability for it getting wrecked, and have them leave it. My favorite thing is the fed ex guys who will leave it by the backdoor or in the garage if you write it in. I've wanted to leave detailed instructions so they have to be secret agent like.
