what are you talking about? TC has that advantage in every stage.
alter of blood is all about how you manage the blood. if you don't want to deal with it, leave your units outside the blood area and ACTIVATE IT as soon as the match starts. when the blood goes away, do your business, and manage your units and such with the blood trigger when it respawns. no duh the strategy is going to change on a stage with a gimmick.
if TC is being a pain with their spawn units, do something to counter. get rid of them by separating the spawn units from the regular units and kill them, send your units to help defend, or charge the enemy stage while you handle the mess by yourself. DON'T LET SPAWN UNITS GO TO HELL ON YOUR STAGE.

There is no advantage for them on Crucible or Feeding Area nor do I have to change my strategy for those...
Then I feel sorry for whoever fell for those.
It's a extremely small map, possibly smaller than Feeding Area, you'd have to be a fool to not know what was a illusion or not on there.

I cast Light of Dawn first, Bladehenge'd like...four Superior Skull Rakers, jumped out, cast Light of Dawn, jumped back in and did it again...his army was gone in like 30 seconds. Heart Cutter included.

I wish there was replay. I have no idea how I won that. If he had the sense to drop the Bleeding Death at my stage he would have won. I'll trade geysers for a siege any time.
So I had a bad day.
Then when I hopped on BL, I was peeved that my first five battles ended with my opponent disconnecting on me right when I got my army to his stage, when I got all the extra geysers, or even when I took his default ones.
Thankfully things got smooth for awhile.
Yet again I am on a winning streak.....hopefully it will last longer than the last one did.
Well I had a lolzy moment when I came across KINGofSHADOZs.
I encountered him three times in a row and whooped his ass three times in a row.
The thing is, the first two battles he disconnected on me when I got all of the spare geysers and he sent me a message saying 'Pathetic much?'
I don't lag at all unless my opponent lags and jesus was it laggy. I even checked his profile after each battle and it said he was offline for the moment after I got cut from the game, but he got back on immediately afterwards.
We ended up having another battle and it was on the Pleasure Gardens, in less than seven minutes I managed to grab ALL of the geysers. This game ran surprisingly smooth compared to the other two, but they had the same result.
After the match, I told him 'Yes it is pathetic how you accuse me for your lag. Besides why would I even want to disconnect when I whooped your ass all three times?'
A few minutes later he ended up sending me 'Its pathetic how you cut on me when I got the upper hand'
Lol.
Both instances that I was cut from the game, not only did it say I lost connection with him and he was briefly offline, I had my army sitting infront of his stage.
The funny thing is, I got a victory from the second time we faced eachother (on doom's mire) even though he cut on me.
I'd rather not say what I said next, but he hasn't said anything since then lol.
I'd say 42 wins and 1 lose is good right?
I really want to do some two on twos, atleast then I don't have to worry about disconnecters screwing me over every one out of three games.

No, he had a need to take the rockcrusher to every geyser they had (this was Pleasure Gardens) before attacking the stage. You'd better believe they disconnected. I was not happy either.

It's funny, cause he had a golden oppurtunity to bounce back by using Skies Afire and he never used it.
I dont care what people say, but if your getting pushed back to, or are at your stage, then skies afire is an amazing solo, Im not sure how much it boosts your units by, but i know its good enough that a warfather and one painlifter can beat a warfather, a skullraker a painlifter and one other thing. its a great solo, just a very defensive one

Also, if that is the case, then Brutal Legend must be a dick magnet and King Brim should be a nominee for the dick of the year award. I haven't said a word to him since I returned, but we have come across eachother atleast ten times now since then and he disconnects on me everytime and it's intentional too cause it's either during the loading screen or the first ten seconds of the game that it happens.
I'm considering using the coupon to get another copy of BL for my little cousin, who loved Psychonauts and handled the puzzle sequences better than I ever did. All they listen to in that house is Lady Gaga and Jonas Brothers. He is the only young man in that house. I must make him metals before it's too late. So how did this game end up doing? I know Tim Schafer was waiting until after the holidays to look at sales figures, and last I checked he didn't seem too pleased.

VG charts (which sucks) says at around 900k worldwide now. The first week was abysmal but word of mouth seems to have given it steady sales over time.
I hope it continues to sell and earns a sequel or more DLC. You don't go an reinvent and entire multiplayer genre and just move on.

It was DD vs IH on Crucible of the Titans.
I had timed the titan's hammer and saw he was planning to smash the hammer on the path to the geysers near me, so I headed to one of them and planted the flag. Making a few grave diggers and heading over to mess with my opponent.
I managed to kill a headbanger, but then he had some razor girls and was defending his guys.
He sent them down the path to his geysers.
I was jumping his dudes on the bridge and he was attacking me, then BOOM!
We all got smashed by the titan.
Him, his troops, and I.
Then he left, haha.
Anyone else notice how Metal Cannibal dropped from #2 to #5 on the leaderboad?
He didn't even lose a single battle either.

i was playing a perfectly good game against nocturnal grasp on battered bluff, no lag or anything.
TC vs DD i built a nun and two soul kissers and he built three gravediggers. we each took the geysers to the left of our stages and went for the middle. but i teched up to tech 2 and cursed a huge group of his gravediggers and he disconnects. what a weiner, the battle hadnt even been decided yet, it was still anyones game....

I battled him last night on Bladewoode, DD (me) vs IH (him).
He wasn't even making shit, I think he was teching the whole time because he kept hunting my avatar down and spamming the infinite combo.
He never made anything the entire game, but I was assuming he was going for a baron rush.
Nonetheless he chickened out and disconnected when I grabbed two of the spare geysers.

I just got accused of hacking by King Brim. In his defense he couldn't see the 9 fire barons in the end game screen and he retracted his statements after i explained i was playing on a friends account still though, dude sounded pissed.

We have been talking about Nocturnal Grasp and boom I get a match with him.
It was me as DD and him as IH on Doom's Mire.
I'll admit the guy is a beast when it comes to killing avatars, but my army was raping his ass.
I took three of the geysers in the center and he was so kind to even weaken the one down the hill for me with a razor girl.
Well when he tried to kill one of my booths down the hill, I used Encompassing Gloom (seeing as how he had a headsplitter and nothing else) and sent a horde of broods with brides and a Dirgiable to his stage.
He managed to grab the geyser he was pushing for, but I took his by his stage and went to town on his stage.
I was zapping the crap out of it with a bride and he lost so fast it wasn't even funny.
The hilarious part about it though was he actually disconnected during the victory screen.
Wow, just beat this and whilst there were a lot of problems with the RTS mechanics, I absolutely loved everything else about the game; the visuals, story, VA, music - everything. And I didn't even like Metal before playing this. Best game I've played in probably the past year.
Mmm, damn.

I thought he had nothing so I used Encompassing Gloom and sent about three Lightning Rods, a dozen Grave Diggers, and a few Reapers to his stage.
I had the game in the bag, but apparently he had a superior Warfather at my stage with two superior Skull Rakers and Pain Lifters.
I tried to kill them quickly, but the Brutal Defeat screen popped up.
My guys were at his stage a hella longer than his were to mine, but I lost somehow.
Kinda annoying really, but whatever.
I faced him again on the same map immediately afterwards and whooped his ass so bad though, in a way it might make a grown man cry.
For now I got 99 wins and 2 loses...that's not so bad I suppose...
not bad!? im pretty sure thats pretty great. especially compared to my 27 wins 11 losses....i either get matched with dc'ers or good players like kor or xterm...

Final Charge isn't taking into account his old record that was wiped, that had about 860 wins 84 loses.
i enjoyed my very first match ever with final charge, he was my second match ever (right after kor who slaughtered me) ahhh i still remember, i was so close to victory and then...bleeding death at my stage while my army was fighting his at his stage
