I should toss this pan right?

I have a nonstick pan, and a silicone spatula

I was a dumbass and left the burner on medium after cooking bacon and eggs, with the pan sitting there and the spatula resting on the empty (except for residual grease) pan for at least an hour, if not more

Should I throw away both the pan and the spatula?

Do either look charred or cracked? Did they smell like burning pastic?

Some people wil ltell you to pitch both regardless, but I think they'd be OK if there's no visible damage. Depends on the quality/cost of the pan too, I guess.

if you can scrape the residu off cleany with a wooden or plastic tool (as to avoid scratches) the pan should be fine.

i don't know if your spatula still err, spatules if the edge is fucked up.
