To the guy who mentions always being scrambled in a room with four entrances... This is why you don't stand in an impossible to defend room! If that were to happen to me and I knew there were too many openings around me, I'd get moving to a more defensible position, then start trying to probe out the scrambler.

I wanna level up my USP to get the tacknife but I just cannot part with the Stingers. It doesnt help that a lot of the time I'm the only one shooting down aircraft.

I use the first launcher on my sub machine gun guy, but I really need that secondary weapon slot for my sniper/riot shield/assault rifle. I kind of wish I could select a missile launcher as "equipment" like before.

I played a USP only round this morning. Went 13-14
last stand was 20 kills. sitrep is 120 items. fuck that. those numbers should be switched. i'm currently at 4/120 and my anal self can't stop using sitrep until it's pro

oh and to reveryone talking about estate sucking because of the house and scrambler sucking becuase it's a "hey i'm here!" alert uh it sounds like... what mode do you play? sounds like you guys do deathmatch. I'm all about HQ and every kows where you are anyways so scrambler's good. if everyone in estate is in that house they aren't going to get 5 or 6 HQ cap points.
The trick with Scrambler isn't to use it as a sniper - it's to run it when you have a riot shield build going on and you're in a squad with your buddies and you want your enemies to not know that you have other dudes lurking around.

That's a great strategy, except it's impossible in MW2. Every single building or position that can be occupied has at least 2 or 3 ways in, often more. Not to mention you're often vulnerable from above or below you. The maps don't have the organic feel that the MW1 maps had.
My first use of the Javelin killed five people at once. It was awesome. The trouble with it is that you need to lead the shot significantly for moving targets and account for terrain features, and for the love of god, don't fire it in a building with a roof.

I've found plenty of people running around with Akimbo Rangers today. The spray animation is scary as hell.
I've been a fan of Akimbo Vectors with rapid fire. Sure, I'm out of ammo practically instantly, and if the enemies are more than 15 feet away I'm screwed, but those are problems for other people.
Can we all agree that Terminal is the best map? Reminds me of Broadcast, that mix of outdoor and indoor so well. Plus there's nothing sweeter than steering a predator through the roof window of the main terminal building onto a group of spawning enemies.
So is there any vague consensus on what is the best assault rifle/sub machine gun?
I the SCAR-H. You only get 40 rounds though, which is a bit of a pain in the ass if you survive for a long time. Which is why I carry a decent machine pistol (PP-2000).
After that I like the TAR-21, and the FAMAS in that order.

It would be more fun if you were playing with me but you're a raging asshole. That being said running around with a knife is by far the most fun there is to be had in this game.

The Javelin is hilarious on maps like Karachi, Quarry, and Afghan. It's basically a man-portable Predator Missile once you figure out the targeting.
It's even more epic on Terminal.
Nobody expects it.
