No, you don't understand, they were all jury-rigged.
And there were a bunch of little things that made running them harder. For example, the Moskvitch 412's engine was a ripoff BMW block. One of the changes made to the engine was placing the fuel pump on top of the engine. It regularly ran dry and when it got bad you pretty much had to siphon gas every day to get it started.
I thought this was fun. Toyota leans very heavy on closed source hardware and software keeping its cards very close. The following article has some interesting info.
Additionally, there are differences between what the Black Box is supposed to record and what has been released from court orders. Courts show that the information on accelerator and brakes are listed as "Off" potenetially indicating either a failure in their EDRs to provide reliable and sufficient data or a deliberate attempt to prevent the information from getting out.
Worst case though is not mentioned: Software/hardware failure contributing to the situations, but no one will know that outside of 3 people or so in Toyota.
I should buy more PS3 games but I don't have very much money
Just ordered Wipeout HD/Fury so that I have the obligatory split screen racer. I have army of two as well which covers split screen action, so now I only need to buy marvel versus capcom 2 to have the required fighter and I am officially a "Console" "Gamer".
(I should buy god of war III and also the remakes when I can)
EDIT: Also, to make this poast more related to thread: Anyone else kind of excited for the new Test Drive unlimited?
Went to the car show in Cleveland this weekend. I'm pretty sure that once my Cavalier kicks the bucket I'll be getting a GTI or a Cooper S. Anyone prefer one over the other? The GTI looks like it has loads more room and a familiar console compared to MINI's looks-first deal. But the Cooper is cooler looking.
Camp Jeep was faked out this year, rather than bringing in dirt and logs they had a girder-mountain that looked like a car carrier and some platforms. It doesn't really show off your approach angle and breakover capacity when every obstacle is prefaced with ramps.
What the crap is the GMC Granite concept? "We Are Professional Grade" for job sites and such as... so here's a cute little wagon thing for the architect to drive?
Also, a funny thing about the booth babes. Ford had girls in shortsleeve sweaters, miniskirts, and knee boots. GM's ladies were wearing longsleeved jackets, turtlenecks, and long pants like Math teachers. Toyota and VW had office casual khakis and polo shirts.
... Chrysler/Dodge had ultra-high heels and very short one-shoulder slitted cocktail dresses. I never saw so many dudes raptly paying attention to the minivan display. A guy walked by and said "Can any of you guys tell me, what color is the van?"

why isn't it

No, just incompetent.
Also the best car ever was the Lada (If you got one of the ones that worked)
nah bro
but seriously
they need a different logo
okay look if we're doing Russian cars
let me lay down the law
the best:
My dad bought a beat up and half-jury-rigged one in the late 80's and we drove it up until we left in 1997; it was awesome.
When the temperature reaches 0 degrees Kelvin and all the atoms are frozen in the air you can bet on that your Lada will start up.
They are also piss-easy to repair, or so I've heard.
Those that never work and those that always work. It's like buying a lottery ticket, except slightly more expensive.

You don't even need to have a Lada to join it as long as it feelsl like your driving a Lada.

I loved the first one and also the old ones.

Can't tolerate the combat system in JRPGs if they are turn based and it's not on tiny squares like in FF: Tactics.
You take turns based on your level of funk.
Actually I think it has something to do with battle points, like stronger attacks take more time to execute or something

i'm not sure if i like the interior
but as a concept car
it's pretty goddamn fantastic
the brera concept is breathtaking
Want.
But lose the half-hearted back seats, change the interior seat color to graphite in lieu of barf periwinkle, and add some windshield wipers.
Where are they gonna hold cups?

My last car was a 94 Infiniti G20T. Such a great car....with one exception. No cup holders.
You have to tear the roof off the bosses
So it's the worst car ever, then, huh?
