a level 15 Priest will have trouble MHealing DM even, but Paladin heals are so tiny at that level that you really need to have the rank of Holy Light that matches the level of your tank in order for it to be enough and not drain your mana.
Having a warrior in the beginning of an instance (in this case, Durnholde Keep in the Caverns of Time) ask your pally over and over: "are you sure you can heal? You're not as good as a priest. Are we going to wipe?"
And then not wiping because yes, you actually can heal, dammit.

That warrior was one giant Vagina
Oh yes. He kept demanding to know how much mana I had, what my + to heal was, etc.
Then he didn't believe I was holy specced because I had Blessing of Kings.
BoK is only 10 points down the prot tree, you douche.
Healadins are fucking awesome. I know one healadin that just won't let you die in a 5-man, no matter what. IF there is a way to survive a situation by the help of his abilities, he knows it and uses it properly. I've grouped with him countless times and often I thought
"Shit, that's a'wipin"
But no. He saved the day, and in the end he had like 40% mana. Amazing stuff.

also, it makes me giggle that my holy shock crit heals for 1K+ now
Very much an asshole move but one I have pulled a few times as well. When you wipe on a guy and are keeping tabs on him for a long time you get a sense that you deserve him more then the newcomers.
Ya, but I'm a rogue.
I can be an ass and steal stuff. My class warrants it.
This level 70 druid who insisted on buying my Netherwhelp off me.
He opens a trade window and throws in 50g and hits accept. So I hit accept and took the money.
I laughed and hearthed. It was awesome.
He whispers me a few moments later with "snd it in the mail plz". I replied with "ok".
Makes me feel all warm inside.
Not cool.
Edit: Also doing terrible dirty Rogue things to people. Constantly sapping a character that could tear your head off until someone of an equal level comes by and smites them is probably the second or third most fun thing ever.
in my computer science class today, some dude was playing WoW in front of me. Whatever, right, it's a boring as hell class. Anyway, he's just sitting there in shattrah, waiting by the mailbox. He then gets a tell from a dude, sends a tell back, then gets a mail with 7000 gold in it. Then he went to shadowmoon and bought a flying epic mount.
Cloudeagle, being a guy who normally plays Alliance characters I would worry about a Shaman being main healer. I really don't know what their potential is. So I understand why someone would be nervous about a Paladin mainhealer.
While on the other hand, I would trust a Druid, or Paladin who says they are a healer. (Unless it is a level 15 Paladin trying to be main healer in Dead Mines, did that once it didn't work well.)
I've solo healed Old Hillsbrad. Full (and I mean FULL) resto. Only one death the whole run on the final boss because the rogue didn't understand "I'm keeping the tank alive". So, a shaman healer is viable.
Anyways, on topic: Arena. What's this? A Shaman and a Lock? So who's your target buddy? Nyah! Doesn't matter!

Today, I respecced back into full Moonkin build and got my first ever 1k Moonfire crit. That made me happy.
Sounds good. Now make 50 alts with names like "auwnpkmrg" and send to every goddamn person on the server, and delete the alt 2 minutes later so it can't be traced by GM's.

I don't want to sound rude, or maybe I do, but if you can't keep a whole group alive in Old Hillsbrad you really aren't doing your job very well.

Let me elaborate. It was my first time there, well, first for all of us, save for one. Seeing as he had prior experience, I decided to take his advice into account, since he stated only to worry about healing the tank and Thrall (that part I didn't understand, that fucker has rediculous amounts of life).
Ironically enough, it was the rogue who said this. Besides, after telling me not to heal him, he did not drink a potion ( I know because I offered, stupid alchemy, and he said he was out but didn't want one), nor did he disengage and bandage. So eff him.

You sir, are my hero.
This is basically the same thing that almost got me permabanned from WoW, only it was the Zergling instead of the whelp.
If they banned you for that I would call complete BS and bitch to them until unbanned. Blizzard hardly ever cares about people abusing others stupidity through in game mechanics they built. The idiot hit accept right after putting the money in, like so many dipshits do, and at 70 the either had someone else level them or they simply don't understand trading and Bind on Use pets either (not even going to touch whether they understand the CE pets)....dipshits

Being against the ToS, and being something that they care enough to pursue vigorously are different things. If repeatedly griefing other players is considered an actionable offense(it is, and let's not forget gift-wrapped CoD boxes), then this certainly is within that same realm of "harm" done to another player.
Yes but the CoD boxes were probably not a bannable offense until they came out and stated that it was. Same with the repeated griefing (they stated that one fairly fast). So until Blizzard says taking money from a trade window because the other guy hit accept to fast is a bannable offense I see nothing wrong with it. And until they look at chat logs there is nothing to prove that he wasn't just giving the money to him anyway.
BTW Septus your sig and avatar disturb the hell out of me.

Questing in Hillsbrad/Arathi, minding my own business, and being spotted by a level ?? Alliance on a mount, managing to Concussion/Wingclip and AoCheetah away toward safety...
Then rounding the next hill and seeing another Hordie, level 60+, just moseying around, noticing me fleeing for my life, and taking the time to hand that cocky ?? his/her ass.
Gives me a nice warm and fuzzy... Also, makes me vow never to attack someone who nets me no honor, once I get high enough to make that a factor.

also, laptops in classes are the most distracting things ever

I believe this is not only the fastest I've ever leveled with a character, but one of the few characters I actually leveled past 20.
