Yes but the CoD boxes were probably not a bannable offense until they came out and stated that it was. Same with the repeated griefing (they stated that one fairly fast). So until Blizzard says taking money from a trade window because the other guy hit accept to fast is a bannable offense I see nothing wrong with it. And until they look at chat logs there is nothing to prove that he wasn't just giving the money to him anyway.
BTW Septus your sig and avatar disturb the hell out of me.
Yeah, but they WILL look at the chat logs if this guy complains. Not only that, but they will listen to his side of the story more than what you have to say about the matter. Also, it was 50s that they came after me for... So that much gold, unless that guy has a sense of humor bigger than the goodyear blimp, is going to get you in some deep shit.
so accepting money is a punishable offense if it's mistaken? Christ, I wonder how punishable some of the mistakes are on the AH.
Remember the big flap a while ago about people posting say 14 entries on the AH for an item for 99 silver, and then 1 more of the same item for 99 gold?
I remember Blizz's answer to that was "Too bad, so sad."
Interesting how it changes if the transaction is done in a trade window though...

Well, I've actually done something like that on accident.
The event in question, is someone, with documentation in chat logs, intentionally misleading someone to tell them that they can sell them a whelp.

Yeah thats the damning part. The whole mis-leading the sheeple. The worst part was that I was selling my sap... err less-than-crayon-eater-smart-person the information on how to GET a Zergling. Hell I even delivered by telling them to go to Wal Mart and get a collectors edition. Still Blizzard said I had taken gold on the premise that I was able to get that person a collectors edition pet through in-game means, regardless of the fact that the logs supported me saying the whole time that I would just tell the person how to get one. Still my guild had a good laugh at missing one of their two main tanks for our major raiding nights that week :P
Yeah I had some moron try to pull the old Argent Dawn COD trick last night. I checked and the fool was still online (lvl 1 rogue. cute). GM ticket later and it's taken care of.
I can't help but mention that the "Unhappy" WoW thread is on its second iteration and already has surpassed the "Happy" WoW thread in posts.
Oh internet.

Remember kids, its easier to frown than smile, but if you frown all the time, you end up looking like a goddamn basset hound. So remember to have at least one half hour of manic laughter a day! Think of your future!

Ok Ill try to help beef this one up.
It makes me happy when I ding a level without even noticing I was close. Last night fighting Murlocs in Hillsbrad I was low on HP and Mana and was in need of a drink after this tidehunter died, then DING!, nice timing no drinking needed.
It actually takes less muscles to smile then frown Wolf.
I've heard people mention it, but they never mention the specifics. Someone elaborate.
They send you a package C.O.D. (cash on delivery). They used to be able to gift wrap it but blizzard did away with that. Anyway, usually it is a bag of simple flour now. They have this nice letter all written up about how it's from the Argent Dawn blah blah blah and if you click on the C.O.D. package boom, you're short 500g or however much it was for some flour.
edit: beat'ed to the punch, anyways. Things that make me happy: the awesome drop rates on Aldor rep items in Legion Hold. I also think pie is baked happiness.
Being close to death and then leveling up is a great feeling.
"Your death makes me stronger!"
This has happened to me so many times, but I laugh every time it does.
I posted mine in response to Bernards, but yah.
I do remember a story about a fellow on a PvP server who was out questing and would get jumped while fighting a mob.
Funny part was that he knew one more kill would level him up so he finished the mob off and was at full health to deal with the guy who had just jumped him.

I actually had this happen on a boss fight once, one boss that had some sort of adds or we accidentally pulled something I can't remember the specifics but one of us was really close to leveling and dinged mid battle. Made that fight a bit easier.

To be fair, "happy" posts don't generate much debate, whereas hate posts turn into two pages of people arguing that X isn't overpowered, etc.
Also to be fair, the unhappy thread was already a good number of pages into it when the happy thread started.
That is the second unhappy thread, isn't this still the first one? Or did the first one die so someone decided to start another one?
It doesn't matter anyway, most of the unhappy thread is Rogues screaming like spoiled brats while someone wonders if Cloak of Shadows is actually all that balanced.

Remember: being able to pick and choose your fights so that they're virtually always on your terms doesn't count for much. That requires some patience and thought. All that really matters is being able to be an invisible genocide machine. Instant gratification, man.
"Bitching about CloS" is the new "bickering about druids".
Which, for a time, was the new "bitching about Cloak of Shadows".
The Druid bit was just an intermission.
Oh, I also enjoy seeing some of the Blood Elf Paladins who think they're the new cock on the walk and pull 4-5 mobs at half mana just so you don't get anything, and proceed to die in a most satisfying fashion.

You get a mail, titled something like: "Congratulations from your friend at Argent Dawn"
There is then a letter and a request for money.
Or it is CoD saying it is from the Argent Dawn.

Just when I'm on the brink of complete ownage as balance you keep talking about how cool treeform is (which I've never used).
Stop playing with my emotions! *cry*

Perhaps...too happy...
They're all warriors and druids in disguise.
I don't feel comfortable right now
I am going to go put some pants on space thrall
Or locks arguing about CLoS.
In other news 5.5k greater heal crits make me happy. Even though I know it's not that uber, I like seeing TEH HUEG NUMBERS.
man
my warrior's so jealous as he bandages up to 35% with a heavy runecloth bandaid after a close fight.
