I think it's about time there's a thread like this.
You basically say whichever cancelled game you want uncancelled. That's it.
As for me, I would personally like it if LucasArts uncancelled "Sam and Max: Freelance Police". I mean, if LucasArts is really serious about saying they want to returning to their graphic adventure roots, they'd do this.
And besides, I'd personally like to hear Bill Farmer and Nick Jameson reprise their roles as the canine shamus and lagomorph companion, respectively. I think they've been ostracized for WAY too long. If LucasArts brought back the authentic Monkey Island voices, they can bring back the authentic Sam and Max voices.
And LucasArts, if you refuse to sell this game because Telltale has the Sam and Max license, then at least give the rights and the programming code of that game to Telltale instead of keeping it all locked up. The people there worked on that game, so they should be allowed to finish what they started. And if you don't revive that game before PAX East, then I will make you revive that game at PAX East... because I'm currently thinking of attending. I will walk up to your booth and ask for that very game in person... I PROMISE.
Okay, now that I've gotten that off my chest, anyone else want a cancelled game uncancelled?

That game looked sick.
Also, that cel-shaded MMO for Xbox. True Fantasy Live Online, or something like that.
Bolded for seriousness.
Seriously, that game sounded so awesome. I mean, you can explore and raid the overworld? Hell yes! That game would have been a decade ahead of its time if it had come out.
Coran Attack!
That's been cancelled?
You beta'd that too? It was ok, I thought, kind of lost interest as it got near end of beta. I assume it never got finished?
Also, Duke Nukem Forever, lol.
M.I.S.T. (My Incredible Super Team) and whatever it was renamed to is my other choice, if time travel is allowed :P. I choose to believe the game would have Jagged Alliance with creatable super heroes well before Freedom Force was even a glimmer in someone's eyes. Hell, can I resurrect SirTech for Jagged Alliance 3 or Camelot / Sega for Shining Force 4?
That was all over the internet years ago and from everything I've read it was pretty terrible, which is believable since the reskinned Wu Tang game they turned it into was also terrible.
Yeah bleem would run it. It looked cool though.
But really, I just wish 3DO hadn't gone under. I'd kill a few babies for a 3DO release of Heroes of Might and Magic 6.
Really.
Your babies.
Yeah he's with Obsidian working on Fallout: Vegas
Yeah, we're getting the new Team Ninja Metroid, but I'd kill for a proper 2D sprite-based Metroid on the DS.
It was out for a few years. I trialed it a few times. Was generally a pretty good game but died overall to extremely small playerbase.
As for uncancelled? Ultima Online 2... SO much excitement for that when I played UO/AC.
That came out!
The thing about DNF, though, is that all the hubbub is less about the game itself than the circumstances surrounding its development and indefinite postponing/cancellation. As nifty as it would be to get a new Duke Nukem game, I can think of a dozen cancelled games that people would be more excited about as games.
I hear that. When the hell are nintendo going to continue from where Metroid Fusion left off? They set up a brilliant new plot and then.... aparently it's too hard so we have to keep trying to slot new metroid games in the middle of all the previous ones.
Also, Chrono Break.
Hell yes! I thought I was the only one who remembered that game. I was drooling over it in magazines for so long only to have it never released.
If only to see the story, because frankly the game wouldn't have been that good on the N64.
Not that Battlecry did a much better job later, but... at least on the Japan side they seem to make nice Macross games.
Then again, back then I did drool forever for that game (and I got my N64 basically for that game... such a huge Robotech fan.)
And another vote for Starcraft: Ghost.
An FPS with some clever squad mechanics and all the R&D goodness of X-Com. Besides, who wouldn't want to meet a chrysalid in person?
