Basically I'd like to be able to run a pc with the laptop keyboard, mouse, and monitor. The PC runs xp, and the laptop runs ubuntu. Something like this seems like it would be just what I need, but I don't really feel like dropping 400 dollars on it.
What other solutions are there? Would something like remote desktop or KVM over IP work reasonably well?
