It's like Blizzard really wants us players to hate one another.
I find a nice niche in Elwynn where I can run around the tower and the turkeys respawn just in time to keep going. This gets me to 35 until some jackass on a bike does a drive-by and breaks my sequence.
Well this was a pretty easy holiday. I can see how the turkey hunt might be a bitch, but I guess I lucked out on it. It should be a cakewalk in about 3 days though, when everybody starts ignoring it. Either way the bulk of the work was simply traveling from city to city and cooking stuff. The cooking hat investment really paid off here.
Just gotta wait a few days to amass enough dailies for enough turkey cannons, and another meta is in the bank.

I got hacked recently on WoW. They got the email password which made it easy to get my WoW password. Luckily one of the people in my company is also in the guild and I went and logged into his account (on his computer) and told the GM to demote all of my toons to the "inactive" rank. Allowing zero stacks taken from GB. What makes it funny about the hack, I guess they were farming hardcore on my rogue (mining 450 + epic flying + eng = nice farm runs) and selling ore for money or gold for money and got me a 3 day suspension. Took me 3 days from the time I got hacked to get my email password (fuck you hotmail for being such a POS on helping) restored. Was nice to log into all of my toons having multiple pages of AH sales, gems and ore in their mail box. My bank alt had every slot on character, GB and bank filled with Saronite. My rogue was filled with Titanium. Took me closer to 30 minutes to prospect all that ore on my lock. Now I have an authenticator. Do you know how hard it was to get an authenticator here in Korea? Probably would have been easier to kill Kim Jung Il up in North Korea.
I'm convinced someone at Blizzard can't get an orgasm unless they read forum whine about meta-achievement requirements. I'm doing this at 4.30 in the morning. Good luck getting it done at all.
Got it done on the first try. Make a macro. When your wild turkeys are corpses, you know someone is clearing towards you. Head north/south.

The turkey achievement reminds me of the lightning from Final Fantasy 10. Except someone can sun up and steal your lightning. Or just kill you.
Also to all you greedy goblin lovers, I think its kinda funny they added a description to the cooking recipes as to where you can find the mats. Wonder if it will stop people from being stupid enough to buy them off the AH for 1+ gold.

The mats are conjured, they can not be mailed or sold. So no selling them to lazy people.
My sub ran out last week, and I'm grabbing a new gamecard today. So I haven't had a chance to mess around with the new holiday stuff.
Are these daily quests only one a day, or can you do all of them once a day? Mostly wondering because I read you get the turkey shooters or whatever, from the dailies. And if you can only do one of them a day, I'd imagine that has the potential to really screw you over.
EDIT: In case that once a day thing wasn't very clear. I mean like, are they similar to the dungeon dailies where a different one is available everyday? Or like a daily hub, where they're all there for you to do once a day?
Damn, I will be making so many alts this week. Getting your cooking skill up is completely trivial with these. Just went from 50 to 223 on a level 26, and it looks like I can end around 300 (assuming I don't even bother getting the master cooking book).
I will be honest. I wonder if its broken, or you are doing it incorrectly? Are other people on your server having issues with it as well? Possibly you could be having a UI issue. What exactly is the problem you are having?
The chairs can be recognized as vehicles, so if you're dueling or pvp-flagged, they can apparently be killed. No word on respawn timer (if they even have one).
Also, you can't sit down if in combat, so a hunter or something could just afk on a table with his pet on aggressive and really wreck the opposite faction's day until he's killed.
Ah. Ok, Justin. I wasn't aware that was the problem you were having. But, we also had a couple chairs gone outside of Stormwind yesterday. I just went to the other tables and did my food fight and such. Then had to go to work
Do the food buffs scale by level or are they full powered for all levels? I'm trying to decide if I'd rather rep farm this week or level a superpowered alt.
So far I'm on the second group of quests (legs, shoulders and boots) but I don't have the Tier 0 shoulders and legs. I got lucky with the boots on my first ever kill of Balnazzar.
I've not been so lucky with Rivendare. 6 or so kills and no lightforge. Dreadmist twice, magisters three times and shadowcraft once...
I'm going to go crazy aren't I? How stupid am I?
In fact, does anyone know whether vanilla items gained will still be there come Cataclysm?
But seriously, I have to have this set on my Dreanei Paladin! It suits her so well! Argghhhh

Started north of the road just west of the Bulwark, head west until I get to the road that branches off to Scarlet Monastery, then go south of the road and head back east towards the Bulwark.
A lot more open space and flat ground compared to Elwynn, a lot easier to spot them.

You only have to do them set of 5 twice if you do it right.
