360 wireless headset/receiver pc won't sync

I have the drivers for the receiver, I push the two sync buttons, nothing happens.

I've looked all over and can't find any real solution..

They were working until I reformatted. I don't see any reason for them to stop working now.

unless I also need a 360 controller and I did that before and forgot, that'd be gay as hell.

Nevermind, it finally synced after I connected the receiver to a new usb port and moved it off my surround sound receiver.
