Using Steam Cloud for Valve's Steam

I recently purchased Modern Warfare 2 over Steam and installed it on both my home and work computer (my work is fine with me playing games). According to Valve's Steam website Modern Warfare 2 has Steam Cloud support. I read that Steam Cloud allows your game settings and saved games to be stored on the Valve servers to be shared across multiple systems. This would be perfect for my situation as I really do not want to play through missions I've already completed.

The main problems I have no idea how to get Steam Cloud to work with the game. Last night I was able to get halfway through the 2nd Act and completed several Special-Ops missions on my home computer and used the 'save and quit' option to exit the game. When I logged into Steam at the office today, I was hoping I could just pick up from where I left off at home, but it recorded zero progress and I now need to start everything from the beginning. I looked through the menu but couldn't find any options to enable the 'Steam Cloud' feature.

Does anyone know how to get Steam Cloud to save my progress across multiple computers? At the very least does anyone know where the save game files are located so I could transport them using my USB thumb drive?

it's a couple of weeks old, but this page on their site seems to indicate that steam cloud is going to be a gradual staged release

by the sound of it at the moment steam cloud just saves your configuration settings, not your saved games

"We intend to expand its feature set as it is used in Left 4 Dead and other games coming to Steam" seems to imply that the whole "universal saved game" thing will be a later addition

CoD may have steam cloud support, but unfortunately it sounds like steam cloud itself is kind of sucky at the moment

doh, that Valve announcement is over a year old.

I've been trying to google stuff for 'Steam Cloud' with Modern Warfare 2 and the only links that come up are the ones saying the game supports the feature. There is nothing explaining how to actually use it.
