recommendations for file-backup-to-dvd

What are programs/methods you recommend for backing up lots of files to dvds as an alternate backup? Is restoring it easy using that method?

I need to just burn a bunch of files/folders I have onto DVDs (something that should be easy), but I'm overthinking it.

    the guy that made DVD Decrypter keeps on developing the burning portion of it as its own program, ImgBurn.

    http://imgburn.com

    use build mode to create a disc image out of the files/folders, then burn that image.

    free, simple, reliable.
