I've just taken a quick first look at the last code wheel puzzle, and damn, this one's going to give me a headache.
The last code wheel puzzle for the final Glyph?
Nothing is True, Everthing is Permited.
Eh, I appreciate the help, but I'm not gonna click that spoiler and hey I just accidentally read it because ofcourse it's not spoiler tagged in the text I'm quoting. Still, can't say I know the answer right away, but I can think of something.

You're over thinking it.
EDIT: Joystiq just tweeted that DLC is coming in January.
Ubisoft has announced -- rather cryptically -- that Assassin's Creed 2 will receive two batches of downloadable content over the coming months. The first, entitled "Battle for Forli," will launch in January, 2010, followed by "Bonfire of the Vanities" in February. You're advised to have either a PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 (fairly important components for playing the base game, we might add), along with at least 1GB of free space for each download.
Ubisoft has promised to divulge more information later this month. If we were to don our speculation hats in the meantime -- if only to cover up our Robert Langdon hair -- we'd say that "Battle of Forli" will continue the story of Caterina Sforza, who made a brief and undignified cameo in the game as a boat tutorial. The second DLC, "Bonfire of the Vanities," will likely concern the mass burning of sinful objects in Florence. Remind us to toss some of those evil feathers on the bonfire.
Really? Haven't played the game, but I heard them mentioned every time famous in-game characters were mentioned. Does Sforza say that "she has the instrument to bear more" in the retail game?
Gotta say, Sforza and Machiavelli got shit camoes.
Both were like, "LOL, here we are, bye."
I was pumped to play the game to see Machiavelli. Pretty far in, I haven't seen him, and had to stop playing to write a paper on him. Hearing this saddens me.
Damn and I just traded the game in today for God of War Collection. Maybe I can rent it again once the DLC comes out. If they turn out to be any good, of course...

Nope, got it after foefaller's, uhm, hint. I was hoping for a bit more though (not that I'm any good at the puzzles)
Edit: Shit, I really need to finish the story right now.
DLC announced. I'm not even gonna link to that crap. So disappointed in you Ubisoft. Knew I should have passed until a GOTY/Special Edition retail version came out containing the full ACII plot.
Disappointed in DLC coming two months after the retail version?
Disappointed that they're selling something that I can't get thanks to no Live. Yes, I know I should get live if I want the content but the stuff is part of the core game itself, I mean there's two memory slots missing! I can't complete the game until I get the content. (Point isn't that they might be charging for the content, I could care less about that. I'm more annoyed at not being able to play the game "completely")

What do you mean by "No Live". You are on the Internet right now, can't you get your 360 hooked up to it too?
For example, i'm in uni residences right now, the network block live after like 20 minutes, but give you free reign on the internet(just no p2p downloading).
Still, getting angry at Ubisoft because you cant get access to live seems off.

Fuck yessssss Bonfire of the Vanities DLC!
I hope we get to storm the Church of San Marco. I also hope they make Savonarola crazy as fuck.

Are you completely unable to hook up your 360 to the internet or are you under the impression that you have to be paying for a Gold Account to get DLC
The thing that annoyed me about the two skipped memory sequences is that while a large amount of time passed, it doesn't feel like it in the story.
Chapter 11 ends with Ezio recovering the apple from the chest and a botched attempt at assassinating the Spaniard. And then it takes them 12 years to congregate inside the villa and solve the riddle of the codex pages?
Seriously that would have taken a week at most. What the hell were the assassins doing for 12 fucking years instead of solving the riddle? Did they get stoned and sit on their asses and say "Yo dudes, we got a piece of Eden. I am so stoned right now man."
I mean, its nitpicking, and I loved the game and I enjoyed the story, but in terms of lapsed time it just doesn't make any sense to me how it could have taken them 12 years to come up with a plan of action.

Who knows what happened during those years... It may come out that it fits perfectly.
Considering that there are blocks of memory already in the game ready for the DLC, it seems reasonable to assume they've fit everything together for the story.
Oh, I'm sure they have. My beef isn't with what's to come. My beef is with the way the story plays out in its original format. It just feels like they were sitting on their hands for 12 years right now. In fact, I'm counting on the DLC to fix that.

I wonder what the reason is behind the two missing sequences? Did Ubisoft Montreal run out of development time and decide to scrap some content to make a deadline? Or was it always their intentional plan to skip a large chunk of story-time and then fill it in later?
Are they really going to charge for these? I mean the Forli one really sounds like it was content cut from the original release, especially considering the missing sequences. It looks like a clear-cut example of selling us the game twice.

If they really are entire memory blocks of content, 1gig each and maybe an hour or two each, then
1) I'm going to be annoyed because they have obviously been cut from the retail release
2) Going to buy them immediately because holy shit is AC2 great fun to play.
Pretty much the first thing is what i'm pissed at. I can't get Live 'cause I'm banned. Preowned console which I had to buy because MS wouldn't fix my E74 machine. So I got screwed twice over. Ofcourse buying it preowned was a duh move on my part so it is my fault but still. FUCK EVERYONE! :x
Seriously though, if I get a PS3 in the next six months (HAH!) I'll be completely down for this.
Placing the DLC in the middle of the game instead of the end is a clever way to make everyone feel like they *need* the DLC. Seems to be working on everyone who thinks they didn't get the whole game.
It's also a good method to avoid complicating the end of the game and allowing AC3 to make more sense to people who don't buy the DLC.

Well, given that
Ezio uses the Piece of Eden in the last bossfight, it's very likely that he spent those years learning how to use it. Borgia had another Piece of Eden, which the Assassins probably knew, so it'd be fucking suicide to go in and fight him without having your own, and knowing how to use it. Fuck, Altair spent the remainder of his lifetime, basically, figuring out how to use the PoE, Ezio doing it, at least the basics, in 12 years is not that bad.
In other news, I hope you get to use it in the DLC, holy shit that'd be awesome
Also, on having the DLC be planned-for and in the middle, rather than after the end, I think their goal was to avoid having people bitch about "not getting the real ending fuck u ubisoft lol." They also made sure to explicitly state in-game that those chunks of memory weren't all that relevant to the main story, to make sure people knew they were getting the whole story, as it was planned. I'd argue that the only reason people in this thread are seeing the DLC as a must-purchase is because they enjoyed the game so much, not because they fill in irrelevant gaps in the plot.
So I guess the moral of the story is that no matter how hard you try, and no matter what you do, someone, somewhere on the internet will complain about it.

Can I get that at any time with enough points?
Or did I have to buy the game through u-play to get it?
You can unlock the uplay content at any time if you have enough points.
edit: and I just noticed you can collect 100 points, and spend a total of 100 points. May as well get everything.

Yeah, me too. Not buying this, barring something totally amazing.
