Okay, I'm trying to find this older game
It had a slightly futuristic setting and you played this guy (sunglasses, brown jacket, shaved head).
It was an adventure game and you picked up items in all these crazy (mostly abandoned) places like a subway, downtown, an old castle with a werewolf, a zoo, your apartment, etc
Your character would also say the most frustrating things when you were trying to use an item like "I can't use this now" or "I don't need this now"

EDIT: Half-Price Books got a bunch of big-box copies a couple months back. If you have a local store, they likely still have one or two.
