Is the Samsung BD-P1600 basically the newer model of that?

edit: What about AACS key revocation? Is it a big concern with Blu Ray content?

Just saw this one on techbargains: http://techbargains.pricegrabber.com/rating_getprodrev.php/product_id=717089865/id_type=masterid/st=product_tab

I may grab this online. Gets good reviews for the price.

Decided to go ahead and grab this one, I'll let you know how it goes when I get it.

So been using this for a while, here are some impressions:

    Pros:
    Unit is quiet
blu-ray loading times are around 30 seconds from coldboot to movie start
netflix feature is responsive and good quality
I got this unit for $130 shipped during black friday week.

    Cons:
Only USB port is on the front, under a flip down door. In order to us BD Live stuff you need the storage. Also needed to show pictures. Wife made a good point, geeks want this kind of thing hidden in the back, wifeys and grandparents want it in the front, so they can pull out there usb stick and show you their pictures without fumbling about the entertainment center.
    Remote is cheap...like real cheap.

    Minor nuisances:
Every now and then (1 out of 20 times), the unit will show no connection (or degraded connection) when using netflix. Most of the time trying again connects immediately. At about the same rate, watching an HD capable movie will come up as a lower quality. Forwarding a few frames causes a rebuffer, and fixes the quality to where it should be.
