I don't think they do grading on a curve here, but I could be completely wrong
I didn't major in applied maths, it was the only thing I studied, but man quantumn mechanics and fluid dynamics and things of that ilk I found quite tricky.
I do over two hours of homework per class per day.
I'd kill her.
Yeah
Yeah
I was the kind of student that would slack off and then realize how much I was paying for this shit and then spend 3 days straight with maybe 2 hours of sleep to catch up.
Repeat, repeat, repeat

That's what I do!!!!
Just recently I haven't done work for like 12 days, except a tiny bit, now I am totally fucked!
I failed at everything I've ever tried to do, from school to career to romance
not one success in 21 years of life
I present to you that I, I.H.N.I.W.T.R., am the saddest thing
Pssh. You're only 21, it's still way to early to decide if anything you've done is a failure yet or not. That's like saying "this cake I am baking is a failure" when I'm only at the deciding what sort of cake to make and starting to write a shopping list stage.

Next semester is not going to be good times.
Man, seriously, if you can only get distinctions and above
then don't change a god damn thing
you fear the christ out of that C
because if you stay D and above, then you are doing an amazing thing, and you should stick to that
the better part of my bourse is the physical side, the wooden, the plastic, the carbon fibre models.
you pick them up and you can see the difference. Some of them are just amazing
I get tons of interviews, they all say the interviews went really well afterwards, but I never get any offers
I keep losing out to people with double my experience (I am a software designer) because of all the layoffs that have occurred recently
My contract here is almost up and then I am SCREWED
hooray
Uh-oh I accidentally deleted my signature. Uh-oh!!
i could put in almost 0 effort and still get at least a C+ / B-
you have to actively put in less than a minimal amount of effort to fail, like not handing shit in or whatever
what are you studying

I don't think he's in college or university
I knew there was a reason we kept you around IHNWRTSRSD
studying applied math also econ, though this year i'm taking a lot of humanities courses for fun
at least I know I can always succeed at failing
you find it that easy fair play to you
But I dunno
Go applied maths, the best major
Boosted the hell out of my GPA, too.
It won't seem like such a big deal after.
Secret Satan
"Oh man I had to do like TWO HOURS of homework over the weekend how INSANE is that?"
"Hey my music exam was REALLY HARD. We were only allowed to listen to about 5 seconds of a song and then had to identify it! There was like 20 songs!"

See, that's all I was saying
I wasn't saying doing well in school is so easy
I was saying that not failing isn't that much of a task
Overall it's not like I'm doing horribly though.
well that is the ideal way, I thought you meant you did literally nothing and maybe crammed in a few days,
which I thought was pretty impresive. Not that it was the most difficult subject in the world or anything
pretty much relying on the final (it can be worth up to 100% of my mark) but i gotta get to class
I had mandatory 3 hour physics labs every Monday starting at 8 am
Those were fun

Not to burst your bubble, but in the really real world you have to get up and get to work by 8 like every day or they frown at you.
Secret Satan 2013 Wishlist
Followed by a 2 hour recitation to go over all the assigned homework for the week. I don't miss that part of college at all.

Depends where you work and what you are doing
God I loved flexible hours.
Work 7.5 hours a day however the hell you want as long as you are present in all meetings and deadlines.

Most tech people I know go to work at like 10.
It's different for different industries.
However when I worked at a firm I was in work by 7 and left by 7.
Yeah, the agency I worked for I started around 10am.
But then...they went into liquidation so...uh...
