Well, apparently Google forms needs you to put something in for values between scales, but thanks to the overwhelming response (I can't state enough how awesome you guys are!) I have enough for my assignment at least, there are just some factors that will get left out...so!
I've re-made the survey (in a way Google Forms prefers) for people who want to take it just for fun, if enough people take that I'll put those responses through the statistics program too and let you guys know the (probably more accurate) results but I'm not writing a second assignment paper!
He could have not listed WoW because it's inevitably going to skew results, so it's better not to have it listed (lots of charts comparing subscriber bases, earnings, time played etc. remove WoW to give a more accurate comparison between "the rest")
Thanks for the corrections, I changed it to really dislike and added WoW, I must be tired...let me know if there are any other issues, thanks! If anyone meant to put "Really dislike" and chose "Really like", please let me know here or via PM which questions that was on so I can fix the spreadsheet
I was a little surprised when I finished the survey that I had played 12 different MMO's on the list and it wasn't all of them that I have played (Anarchy Online and Shadowbane being two noticeable games left off).

And it seems like all is dying, and would leave the world to mourn
I played a Rogue as my main character for 4 years in WoW, and regularly lamented how frustrating it was to get groups going while lacking the two "important" roles; that is to say that any random dps can often be exchanged with one another, but without enough tanks or healers, that run isn't likely to go anywhere.
Now my main is my druid, who can tank or heal pretty damned well, and I'm happiest that way.
Though it's sort of a moot issue as I'm currently chewing through the Alt Army to catch them up to the level cap after an 8-9 month break.

my main was a druid. /drool they had the best form of healing imo. and i didnt start one until BC, but their playstyle and healing came naturally. i was average at everything (dps/tank/walking around) until i found healing. and BLAO!

In the future when making surveys such as this it is usually helpful (both to the person doing it and the company analyzing the results) to quantify as much as possible.
Ask 100 gamers their opinion of what "often" means in "I play video games often" and you'll likely get 100 different answers.
YOU need to determine what "often", "very often", "sometimes", or "seldom" means and put that information in the survey. It should not be up to us to guess.

I'll definitely work on that, it's one of the reasons I'm taking the class, I'm a newb at this stuff

What sort of analysis will you be running, and with what programs (if any), out of curiosity?

I just returned to WoW and the only char I'm playing is my druid :-p
I have a 80 DK, 70 Mage, 63 Rogue, and I returned to my 46 Druid. I always liked healing but it takes forever to level until... battleground exp. A single AV win is like 1/4 of a level. I've been playing not-too-much for the last 4-5 days and I just dinged 56 a few hours ago. 10 levels in a few days. This rocks.

Am I blind, or was WoW not on the list of MMO's? Or was it just taken for granted that if you've played an MMO, you've played WoW?
Blocked by the work filter, but the convenient tinyurl was easy enough to punch into my Iphone, so take that, work filter!
lol yeah its not there.
so i put it in the "other"
i checked three times so that when he got his answer he wouldnt be like "what a fool, its right there!"
