ZX has been sitting on my shelf since it was released and I never got through more than the first hour or so, and ZX Advent is dirt cheap on Capcom's online store.
Should I play them? yes/no
Even if they weren't good, you already bought them.
I played the beginning of ZX and for some reason couldn't get over being able to hear your guys' footsteps and him going "HURH" every time you jump. Just some of the most annoying sound design in recent memory.

The ZX series reminds me of Kirby & The Amazing Mirror. The map system was terrible, there's no reason to play it, but somehow, it just needs to be experienced because it's a game in a long running series.

Okay, that trailer was incredibly awesome, and also incredibly confusing. Is this some sort of weird mash-up between the Classic and X series? My personal guess is that Dr. Wily created some sort of machine that caused the time periods of the Classic and X series to merge, granting him control of the Mavericks his virus created in the X series. This guess is nearly completely baseless, though.
I also find it interesting in that this is the first time we've seen the Classic Mega Man characters in such a grim-looking setting.

Figured out where the music came from. It's a remix? of sorts of Drill Man's music.
Depends on the trailer you watched. the "Mega Man" and "Bad box art Mega Man" didn't look so goof but "Rock Man" looked perfect. My only complaint is the jumping pose looks a little bad. Other than that I think it looks interesting.

It looks identical to the 8bit sprite. I don't think they should have done it that way, but it's clear what they were going after.
I'm... puzzled about this whole thing. It seems like a console sequel to Powered Up, but with a larger scope. It must be more than that, though, otherwise why change the title? As for the Kinect speculation... yeah, I hope not.
Really makes me wish they WOULD just use the MegaMan Powered up style and graphics. The backgrounds look great in that game, with much better enemies in looks and animation.
Still have hope for it playing good and having cool features, just wish it looked better.
That's hilarious, I didn't even notice that the different Mega Men in each trailer because I didn't bother looking at the second one once it seemed identical to the first.
I definitely lean more towards the Rockman style of art. Seems like an updated version of the 8-bit sprite that doesn't go for too much realism and maintains the charm of the cartoonish style.
Now I'm just wondering what that anime trailer is all about.

I think all the Kinect speculation is just bullcrap theories based on the odd original teaser. This pretty much looks like a fancier version of Mega Man: Powered Up, which is cool with me :P
I did notice it seems to be based around Mega Man 2 - pretty much all of the enemies and environments were from that game (also he had Quick Boomerang in one of the videos). It's possible their intention is that this really will be the Powered Up sequel, but maybe they wanted to do some more with it (possibly due to Powered Up's low sales?)

Er, no, I haven't bought Advent yet.

Also I think the "Footstep sound effect" thing has been with Mega Man since X4. I don't think Zero had it though
...On the other hand, they're also basically Megaman Zero + tokusatsu style Henshin Heroes, so they combined two beloved things and gave it to me.

Gotta keep waiting on these darn media events.

Also, confusing vid is confusing.
So... awesome art and promo videos, woefully shallow grindfest?

Will probably Day 1 it because Capcom owns me, evidently.

Honestly, if Bad Box Art Mega Man isn't in after that tease I'll be pissed.
The article on LBD's site links to 3 trailers which all start/end the same, but showcase 3 different MegaMan...s. So no worries, he's in.

That's Rockman Online or something. All we've seen of it is art of X.
I've got a bad case of lovin' you.
