Need a good router for under $60

Long story short, i need a new router.
Preferably something with bells and whistles or compatible with a custom firmware, basic hardware firewall would be a major plus.
I've been eyeing the WRT54GL, but I request the collective knowledge of the internets before I solidify a stance.

Oh, and wireless is not neccesary at all even though I know the router I was looking at supports it. I have no wireless networking in my house and no need for it
