Who has heard any of the new sounds in game and who were you with at the time
As stated a page or two ago I heard one of them during setup in the second map of plr_pipeline. Nobody on my friend list was there, and I had just hopped onto the server after taking a break for a map or two.

I'm going to take a shot and say this the new announcer voices are a new form of anti-team stacking method.
Perhaps by switching out players who are friends and on the same team that are doing extremely well but giving them a incentive to betray their friend and switch teams.
Basically, the game is like..
you have to switch teams.
Now, you COULD just take it and switch after your current death, or you can in secret betray your team and choose when to switch teams. You will instantly join the enemy team the moment you kill a team member.
Though that whole idea sounds a bit wonky, maybe there's a way of detecting people who are given this option and people can't eliminate betrayers before they can betray anyone? Hence the "FRIENDSHIP DETECTED" sound files which are probably played for those on the same team so they know that someone around them is going to wreck their shit and change sides.
Perhaps the "Friendship ends in 30 seconds" means that this time to betray your team is time limiited.
I was listening to music but I definitely heard her say one of the new phrases when I switched classes a couple times in the spawn in CP_well. Our spawn moved up, so I switched to Pyro to move up too, and back to Soldier.
Hmm...I haven't signed into Steam's friends thing in over a month (my friend's list is short with people who hardly play TF2 these days) and I see that I've gotten an invite this morning at 6:09. I can't remember whether I actually stayed up that late playing (insomnia is a bitch and I'm running low on sleep as it is), but that might have been the trigger. That player was definitely in the same game as me, and it was one of the last maps I played before hitting the sack.

So caused an engie to suicide by sentry today, it was awesome.
BAH! Fiiine. I was going to not post this, but that would just not be fair.
Yes, that's me getting fragged by my own sentry. What's worse is that it wasn't even the rockets that killed me, just the regular miniguns. The spy that activated it got hit by the rockets and pushed back to the wall next to the stairwell, which meant the wooden boxes were blocking the actual bullets from killing him.
So I went after him thinking I could kill him with my shotgun.
Obviously, that didn't work.
It should also be noted that this was the night I ragequit three times in one night. Legit.

In an effort to not just simply C&P every post I do in the SE thread, I'll just say there's some awesome shots of tonight in there and you guys should check em out.
Also, I think it was -Joe- who was asking about the Backstory to this game that I love so very very much.
Like I said, it originated in many different sites unlike say, the Portal backstory, but if you start with this page from the TF2 Wiki, you should be able to find pretty much everything.

No friends were on the server, no friends ever play on the server.
There were a couple of people I regularly play with every night. [vidurl=

Some sounds like shotguns and rockets are horrible now, like a fast, loud as hell burst of static.
so it's a pyro class ability that makes enemies fratricidal?
