VOB to AVI

Im looking for an entirely free program to convert a .vob to a .avi or other compatible video format so that I can put this video on google. I'd also like the program to be able to change the size of the video while it converts it. Smaller mb and actual pixel wise. Thanks.

Edit: also i need it to be able to combine two .vob's or i suppose i could combine them when they are both avi's or such.

Do a barrel roll.
