Whoa, so okay getting here a little late, but the only way to get a key without preordering is from fileplay?
And you can get the client wherever correct?
I hate my ISP, I can't load any fucking sites ATM. I was going to try this site that usually has full game downloads hosted on Rapidshare, maybe someone already uploaded the BC2 beta there.
The mouse movement feels very weird. I hope it is just me adjusting to a new game and not something worse. Looks nice with everything turned on, would like an FPS meter of some sort. We won a round as defense! Which was very hard. I blew up some tanks with an RPG! And I revived some dudes with shock paddles, it's just like old times.
Edit: Also the knife key is your middle mouse button! I got in a fight with 3 guys indoors, and they were throwing ammo packs at me while I was knifing them so I assume they didn't know what button to hit.

It should be forced off but I will check.
I'm running an i7 920 with a GTX260, it runs very well as far as I can tell but without an FPS meter it's hard to say how well. If I figure out what button takes screenshots I will post some pictures.

Hey if it's possible, between frags, can those of you who have it running post your comp specs and what you're running it at graphics wise and what kind of performance you're getting? I know a lot of people who are curious if their rig can run it well.
This is fucking stupid. They need to open the beta up and let it loose everywhere. Because when publishers pull this crap they're not pleasing very many people.
I think there was some hullabaloo about the field of view for widescreen monitors earlier, and it's true, the view seems very constricted on my 16:10 monitor. Also, the latency field isn't working on the server browser, which means you're stuck trying servers randomly until you find one where you aren't stuck in molasses. Hopefully these are beta problems!
