My black macbook is on it's last stretch and it's time to upgrade to Macbook Pro. After a quick check on the mac product cycle site, it says it's about to get updated. Does any know when the next gen of iPhones and Macbook Pro's are to be unveiled or released ?
I doubt the macbook pro is about to be updated - it just got updated a few months ago. The only thing I could think of with the iphone is the possibility of a 4G iphone, but I dont think thats been confirmed and not even sure if its a rumor or not.
Basically if you're looking at a Macbook pro now is a great time to buy.
There will be modest updates to the line in Jan for Macworld, but there won't be anything earth-shattering because they just revised the platform. There will likely be some processor bumps, maybe they found a slightly better battery, that sort of thing. But if you don't care about being on the bleeding edge don't worry about waiting.
Everyone who knows the date of the next MBP update is probably on a non-disclosure agreement. The gap between the last update and the one before it was 8 months, so extrapolating suggests February for the next update. No guarantees that's anywhere near accurate, though.

According to this site the next iphone might be out next summer.
The iPhone was released in June 07.
The iPhone 3G was released in July 08.
The iPhone 3GS was released in June 09.
It doesn't take insider information to guess that a new iPhone is going to be released this summer.
