I love these gift posts. I'm more excited to see my Santee post his stuff than I am to get mine. Which means I should really make with the shopping & shipping already.

Holy crap. Usually I try and comment on each gift post individually because the gifts are always so worthy... so here we go!

staves: I love that you got such targeted gifts. Nice job Scruple... very classy.

bucklerXX: Nicely done! I keep hearing good things about Last Remnant.

Aioua: an entire box chock full of caffeine. That'd be a good gift for anyone here I'd imagine! I hope it's from the G&T SS!

arcath: I think your Santa must've somehow devised a way for you to have a bad day just when your package arrived. It's the only explanation.

kwak: I had no idea they even made a simon belmont figure. That picture is phenomenal.

basticle: haha you actually got something called "Stalker"... creepy.
    Love the picture of

I had posted this on Monday in the CF Santa thread I had no idea which Santa this came from since it had no name to go along with it. Turns out it was from my G&T Santa sorry for any confusion!

    GIFT GET!!
While sitting at my desk at work someone from the mail room says hey! you got a package here. sets it down an walks away. I have ordered a few things for Santees and my girlfriend so I'm assuming its one of those things.
I look at the box and I notice... its from gamesworkshop .. I could have sleep ordered again and forgotten but noo dear friends this is a gift to mee!! HUZZAH!

    A wild box appears!

    *Warhammer Manz*

It was me! I saw you say that you were going to buy the codex so I was hoping that you hadn't already. Good job on the paintwork so far! Nice to see the gifts are already useful!

There's a letter coming your way that I was hoping would get to you first (obviously not) explaining that it was me.
Basically, sorry it was a direct-post job, I would have liked to have posted it all in one box with the note but then I couldn't have afforded the OTHER package coming your way under the pseudonym KW because I'm an idiot who ordered it for himself to your address :-)

    Merry giftage! :)

Awesome gifting going on in this here thread. Secret Santa is always so much fun.

(I wish I could partake of all the caffeinated goodness, but, no, I have heinously high blood pressure. No caffeine [and as little sodium as possible] for Norfair. Although, Santa, if you did send me any caffeinated goodness, rest assured that I know someone who works the night shift and he would probably appreciate it. )

Glad to hear it! I'm really happy that it got to you so quickly. I originally planned to have an additional package containing a plastic wine glass on a spring that would fly out and play "But enough talk! Have at you!" But then, I ran into two obstacles: 1) nobody sells those programmable sound greeting cards unless it comes with some inane song that can't be erased, and 2) What would Customs think of a package with electronics and a spring attached when it goes through the x-ray?

I decided against adding that. Happy Festivus!

You know, that would have actually been hilarious. And by that I mean both the flying glass idea, and the reaction of the Custom officers when they'd have the present on the screen - and I know for fact that packages on the way from or to the US have been blown up for lesser reasons. But then, nothing would have arrived at my place, so all is good in the end! Again, thanks for the awesome gifts!

I used one of those cards the first year I did Secret Santa to make a wooden chest play the Item Get sound from Zelda when it was opened. The only place I could find them was from ebay, and I had to get a pack of 3, so I still have 2 kicking around. Keep that in mind next time you want to fool the postal service into thinking you're mailing a bomb (you could have one play the sound from Castlevania, and the other one play a recording of you saying 'Don't worry, this isn't a bomb')

My wife works at a Hallmark store and says the record your own message cards are coming back, but they all play an excerpt from some shitty song before getting to your clip.

No time for photos, and I will wait to tell what AWESOME stuff I got until I can this weekend, but just wanted to let my SS know that I got the package, and it was a huge bright spot in my otherwise shittacular week.

    Thank you!

(and again, pics will be coming up, and a proper GIFT GET post)

Now I cannot wait for the final pieces of my SS to arrive hopefully shortly.

Ha ha, I totally wasn't expecting to get a PS3. You sent cool things that very much fit my interests, plus the motivation to finish up Tales of Vesperia so I can pop in The Last Remnant. Also, as you were sending your gift from BC to Toronto, it was very politic of you to sign the postcard "Red, White, and Maple-Leafed" rather than, "Red, White, and The Last-Place Team in the Whole Darn NHL". ;)

Thanks again and may you also get awesome giftage from your Santa!

Do go on about Dominion. I've wanted to play some sweet ass board games for some time now.

So awesome. Full of strategy and action, but easy enough to pick up within a game or two. My wife loves it too, but it is better to play with more than just two people.

Oh hey, santee. When your present arrives, it's stuffed with American newspapers to hold it all together. But there's also a letter in there. So be careful throwing that paper away. Also, enjoy it cause it's American!

Everything I sent is edible too. Well except for one thing but it's involved in eating. Also, paper is kinda gross despite being edible

Sort of funny/mean: noir_blood actually does it

Exquisite funny/mean: noir_blood's gift is $20 dollars of ball bearings, each with a mocking face lovingly painted on

Also, I've been thinking about it. I'm putting the odds at 35/65 that this is another year my Santa gets me a supplemental gift in some way related to bleach.

The best gift would be a PS2 in a PS3 box. At first, they'd be all like, "man, if only they still had full backwards compatibility" and then the box would be opened and joy abounds.
