I think I can safely say that in over 20 games of Chaos I have played, I have never been this thoroughly fucked over in the first two turns.

The only situation I've seen that is comparable is one time when Khorne got zero dial ticks in the first two turns.

Map at the start of the Round 2 End Phase:

    citowg3r210.gif

    1. Remove Chaos Cards from the Board - already done

    2. Hero Tokens are resolved - Hero in the Empire kills an acolyte

    3. Resolve Old World cards -
    Warpstone Discovery
Khorne and Tzeentch each draw one Chaos card

    4. Score Ruined Regions - No Ruined Regions

    5. Advance Threat Dials - tie for most tokens
    Khorne advances one click:
    6 - Score 4 VP

    Nurgle advances one click:
    10 - Remove 1 Corruption

    Tzeentch advances one click:
    15 - Score 3 VP

    6. Check for Game end - the game does not end

Nurgle to choose a corruption token to remove, then I'll update all hands and we will move on to round 3
Sending the upcoming Old World card to Tzeentch so he can make an informed discard decision (on your player doc)

    Round 3 Begins

Sensing the growing conflict among the gods, peasants throughout the land are striking out at perceived threats.

    Peasant Uprising
Place one Peasant token in every region except the Badlands
While this Old World card remains in play, each Peasant token on the board raises the Resistance of the region it occupies by one.

Warpstone Discovery also remains in effect

    citowg3r31.gif

Khorne is first to act, as always. All hands updated.

    Choices choices.

A battle cry goes up in Troll Country!

Battle Cry - 1 - No corruption tokens may be placed in this region during this round. 6/7 PP remain

Now if only someone else could go ahead and play a chaos card there...

    Blood for the Blood God!

Plague Touch - 0 - The defense value of each enemy figure in this region is reduced by 1, to a minimum of 1. (6/6 PP remain)

I would like to discard Warp Shield form my hand:

Warp Shield - 0 - When you play this card, choose one of your figures in this region. That figure cannot be killed in battle this round.

Also, I need my hand updated to 5 cards to take my turn.

Cast Temporal Stasis into The Empire:

    (M) Temporal Stasis - 1 - The cost for your opponents to summon figures to this region, and play Chaos cards in this region, is increased by two.

Summon Seductress to Estalia. (5/6 PP)

Khorne, if I were you I would give serious thought to spending the 5 points to dump your Bloodthirster into the Empire. If nobody challenges Tzeentch there, he can bring his cultists over from Norsca or Troll Country along with a warp stone or two and ruin the Empire, getting 13 points and a dial tick along with it. He'd be more than halfway to 50 victory points.

Plus I don't think there's much chance of everybody leaving the region, since it's so close to ruining, so the points wouldn't likely be wasted.

I can't say for sure that's what I would do were I in your position, but I think you should give it some very serious thought.

As such...A battle cry goes up in the Empire!

I can drop my bloodthirster next turn.

    Round 3 Summoning Phase

Peasant Uprising and Warpstone Discovery are in effect

    citowg3r32.gif

Khorne (6/7) screams out a Battle Cry in Troll Country (no corruption placed)
Nurgle (6/6) reaches out for a Plague Touch in Troll Country (-1 defense for others, min. 1)
Tzeentch (5/6) drops a Temporal Stasis in the Empire (+2 PP cost for others to act)
Slaanesh (5/6) sends a seductress into Estalia

Khorne (3/6) reacts to Tzeentch's meddling in the Empire with another Battle Cry (no corruption placed)

Outsiders can discuss tactics if they've already passed, right?

I placed it there to prevent Tzeentch from being able to play a card there.
