That said I unlocked Heimer on my smurf finally. First game was pretty fun, second game sucked ass. (Fuck Nunu eating my turrets.) Highlight of the bad second game was an Eve with a negative K/D ratio complaining about Heimer being bad.

I don't know what happened. I started off with Twitch and dominated games, getting 15+ kills pretty effortlessly. I just finished the last game 0-10. I'm getting worse each game I play.

people get wise on how to beat popular champions, all you need to take out twitch is an elixer or just a vision ward.

Seriously the guy is made of wet cardboard and very few Twitches invest in much in the way of defensive gear, just lifesteal which surprise surprise doesn't do much when you're not attacking. Twitch is especially vulnerable to alpha strikers like Kassadin who will explode the furry fucker before he can realize what's happening.
However, when playing her for the first time, do not forget her q is on a one second cooldown, save it to finish off the golems at the beginning, and then get killed by said golems. You know, should you ever find yourselves in that situation.

Question: I've got to 450 Influence, and I'm wondering, should I pick up a starter hero like the archer chick? Maybe Master Yi, he seems pretty good. I'm not a complete newbie, given that I've played some DoTA in my time, but I'm definitely not hot shit at this game.
What I'd actually suggest is to get the Test Realm, figure out which heroes you like playing (because you can buy them all), find out if they actually work well at all then spend your IP.
If you don't want to spend that time and effort, yes, either Yi or Ashe is not a bad investment

I've been playing some games with Yi, and I like him. I've been doing something close to alright, when you consider that my teams have been getting stomped. It seems like every time I join a game, there's two guys in the bottom lane who get eaten alive by Kassadin, and then he's 18 and I'm 8, and I'm getting my sorry ass riftwalked into oblivion.
holy shit they hit twisted hard with the nerf bat, i thought it was just going to be changing the gold card to single target, but doubling gates cool down at level 5 and decreasing pick a cards duration to 10 seconds is just insane =/ why oh why did i buy him
