Gah, I just literally bought Twisted Fate today. Also, I bought HP quintessences, which got nerfed, and I bought the flat mana regen seals because they didn't have clarity. So much wasted IP.
15 x 5 x 5 = 375IP. Which means I only lose out if I get 210 IP T3 runes. Anything else, I win. Especially those really expensive Quints. Got a 2% xp quint which is like 2000+ IP. Of course, the risk is not getting what you want, but I think it's worth it at the beginning where there's a greater chance you'll get something you can use. Later on it's probably better to just buy the runes outright.

"Well, ok, i knew gold card was getting nerfed but at least it's still a bit useful." Read a bit more "fuck, ok with the hold duration reduced its even more useless...but its ok, i still have great lane control with gate" read a bit more "FFFFFFUUUUUUUUU"
I do really like that gangplanks ult no longer shows his location, and thank god they fixed that bug where he just stands still like a jackass if you tried to parrrley right after an ult.
Hmm, aside from obviously trying out Nidalee, I guess Udyr might actually be viable now. 320 movespeed and 5 seconds between bear stuns will be pretty scary.
Twisted Fate was pretty ridiculous and needed those nerfs, and I say this as someone who enjoys playing him often. Pick a Card will still be pretty devastating in the hands of good players, this just decreases the time that TF can hold you back with the threat of a gold card while laning (as getting stunned and then him using Wild Cards hurts like a bitch), and 60 seconds before cooldown reduction on Gate isn't that bad honestly. You'll still be able to fuck up people with Destiny + Gate with ease.
I'm glad they finally added the death recap, it's going to be incredibly useful at times.
does no one else notice how bloodrazer will now have lower stats than the components?
Mandred's Bloodrazer. it previously had 40 dmg, which amounted to razer (15) + pick (25). the base damage on the item will soon be 35, pick (25) + razer (?)!
i know that it is getting buffed to 4% HP dmg (capped at 4500 HP, meaning it should max out at 180 additional damage) but i don't like that 5 damage is lost to the ether, unless there is an additional nerf i'm unaware of.
corki is getting a pretty big nerf. but i still want to unlock him.
as far as flat rate mana regen, they were gone from the store for awhile. not sure when they got added back in. thats why i have AP/lvl and CD/lvl glyphs instead of clarity.

League of Legends now includes Death Recap, a helpful feature for both new and veteran players alike, which shows the major sources of damage that led to a Champion’s demise. When a player’s Champion has been slain, the player can open the Death Recap window which will summarize all of the fatal damage they received during their final moments. Also had a crazy game last night with Jax, solo queued. My team asked me to solo mid, and I was kinda O_o since I've only soloed mid once and that was with a ranged character. Well, I decided to give it a go, and who do I get paired up against? Ashe, of course. So, I play pretty defensively making sure not over expose myself, getting a couple jump attacks in, then running the fuck away. Ashe tries to push her luck a bit too much, and I get a jump, stun, charged up hit on her and get an early kill, which absolutely blew my mind. We then proceeded to absolutely roll the other team and I was the star, posting something like 7/2/3 line.
It made me happy, though I don't think I'll make a habit of soloing mid as Jax. ;-)

yeah, solo mid jax works in the sense you won't die if you play defensively, and you'll probably get a kill when they overextend; however, in my experience you will get outpushed pretty easily against a ranged char.
against a good ashe (or almost any ranged character) most melee toons will get pushed back. but certain heroes... like trynde or jax who can either self heal, or dodge, you gain an advantage in that, you can jump in for some last hits, get out and still have your health.
also, i want them to win some readers choice awards so that i can unlock corki and get the UFO corki skin.

I've found cho'gath works great solo against a solo ranged like ashe or twitch or teemo. With a regen pendant in the beginning + your passive you can keep them pushed back and afraid to get near you .
And its probably the best feeling in the game when you as a MFING CHO GATH hit 6, throw a rupture and a couple melees, and then proceed to NOM OM OM that 800 hp hero. Then, for the rest of the game, your a gigantic hero eating, nuke tanking, tower pushing destroyer, with the only thing stopping you is when you get tired of never hitting less then 50% hp, and shop diving (their safety zone tower hits hard) to get your atmas.
So I bought the snow bunny Nidalee combo pack... and I'm still planning my build... I need to determine how to maximize her jungling capabilities, since her passive lends itself so well to it.

PVP.net will now automatically flag a user as “Away” after being idle. Also, users can manually toggle their status icon in their buddy list by clicking on it

Death Recap
League of Legends now includes Death Recap, a helpful feature for both new and veteran players alike, which shows the major sources of damage that led to a Champion’s demise. When a player’s Champion has been slain, the player can open the Death Recap window which will summarize all of the fatal damage they received during their final moments. The Death Recap window not only provides informative tips on how to avoid being killed by the same champion and spells again, but also displays the items the killing and assisting Champions have, and the stats of those items. The fatal damage taken is broken down on an integer and percentage basis, so that players can have a complete and thorough understanding of exactly how they were taken down.

NEW: Nidalee, The Bestial Huntress
Javelin Toss (Human): Nidalee tosses her javelin at long range, dealing increased damage the farther the javelin travels (up to 250%)
Bushwhack (Human): Nidalee creates a camouflaged trap that, when sprung, will reveal the target and deal damage. Champion Armor and Magic Resistance are reduced by a percentage for the duration of the debuff. Traps are visible to enemies
Primal Surge (Human): Nidalee calls upon her bestial heritage to heal an ally champion and grant them an attack speed bonus for a short duration
Aspect of the Cougar (Ultimate): Nidalee may freely transform between a human and a cougar at no cost. While in cougar form all of her attacks are melee and she gains additional dodge and movement speed. Leveling this skill increases the effects of her cougar abilities
Takedown (Cougar): Nidalee jumps at the throat of her target, dealing her attack damage plus a static bonus. The damage of this skill increases the lower life percentage the target has
Pounce (Cougar): Nidalee pounces forward, dealing damage in a small radius.
Swipe (Cougar): Nidalee slashes wildly in front of her, dealing moderate damage in a large area
Prowl (Passive): Nidalee gains additional movement speed when moving through or out of brush

Also had a crazy game last night with Jax, solo queued. My team asked me to solo mid, and I was kinda O_o since I've only soloed mid once and that was with a ranged character. Well, I decided to give it a go, and who do I get paired up against? Ashe, of course. So, I play pretty defensively making sure not over expose myself, getting a couple jump attacks in, then running the fuck away. Ashe tries to push her luck a bit too much, and I get a jump, stun, charged up hit on her and get an early kill, which absolutely blew my mind. We then proceeded to absolutely roll the other team and I was the star, posting something like 7/2/3 line.
It made me happy, though I don't think I'll make a habit of soloing mid as Jax. ;-)
yeah, solo mid jax works in the sense you won't die if you play defensively, and you'll probably get a kill when they overextend; however, in my experience you will get outpushed pretty easily against a ranged char.
also, i want them to win some readers choice awards so that i can unlock corki and get the UFO corki skin.

I've found cho'gath works great solo against a solo ranged like ashe or twitch or teemo. With a regen pendant in the beginning + your passive you can keep them pushed back and afraid to get near you .

And its probably the best feeling in the game when you as a MFING CHO GATH hit 6, throw a rupture and a couple melees, and then proceed to NOM OM OM that 800 hp hero. Then, for the rest of the game, your a gigantic hero eating, nuke tanking, tower pushing destroyer, with the only thing stopping you is when you get tired of never hitting less then 50% hp, and shop diving (their safety zone tower hits hard) to get your atmas.
Brilliant.
