Mild Disappointments (wah wah thread)

So I was all excited because this Wednesday I was set to go to a holiday concert with weezer, jack's mannequin, and motion city soundtrack playing. But then stupid rivers cuomo gets in a bus accident this weekend and the thing is cancelled. Glad he's relatively safe but this sucks. Then I get this email from ticketmaster telling me I get a refund, minus the processing and handling fees, so now I'm out $20. Boo fucking hoo


Oh, and there was a mild delay at the metro this morning that made the commute even longer and now I'm all cranky


so yeah, this week is off to a bad start. Let's bitch about mild disappointments in life. I mean, it's not the end of the world but still crappy for me. Waa-waa

I was mildly disappointed that my pre-requisite physics course I need to get started on my degree was full.

Then yesterday some sucker dropped it and now I'm in!

I will continue to be majorly disappointed that because of scheduling conflicts with the owner, my vacation time has been moved and I won't be seeing the shuttle launch in February.

i go to very few concerts and fortunately for me there are several independent venues within an hour's drive that handle their own ticket sales.

a bunch of places also use the brown paper tickets that shoe and jordyn sell which is neat.

Well, my neck decided to pull itself or something this morning, and now fuck ow it hurts to look to the right. Boo.

But I did finish work at 11:30, so yay!

Now I just need to see if I get two extra days of leave to cover next monday/tuesday. Boo.

But if I do I get a month off, yay!

Oh my god that's a problem.
Do you know how she eats? That's the sort of thing that happens if you never eat fruits and vegetables -- or if you don't eat enough period. Both kind of risky independent of the poo poo.

I just heard about gorgol bordello, they seem to be pretty awesome.

The night they played I was hosting a party at my hosue so I didn't get to see them. My buddy went and said they were pretty awesome, but I wasn't sure if I would really like them or not.

She is crazy in trying to lose weight so she does these dumb shake only diet things where she will have like soup and carrot shakes and that is all or sushi.

Last night I went from zero to sick in the space of an hour. I felt fine all day until about six o clock when suddenly...
"Why is my throat scratchy?... and now my nose is running... and now I have a fever. Awesome."

So now I am sick at work and it is cold and raining and this week is disappointing.
