Bitches can't get enough of my leg armors. I guess it is because there is new content so people are getting new pants left and right. I can't buy enough borean leather to keep up. It's super profitable now that you can buy six stacks of borean leather instead of two arctic furs.
It almost sounds like they managed to put the pet combat mechanics (get behind the target to DPS it, only be infront if it's not possible to be behind it) onto the mobs. Which is just one of those "How did you break the working toaster?" kind of bugs.
Gah. Disconnected in the middle of Halls of Stone. I'm serious about finishing dungeons unless the group is utterly terribad, so I feel like I let random people I'll never meet again down. :x

So it seems that on the Stormstrike battlegroup, Dalaran and Duskwood have absolutely the worst players I've ever encountered. It's so bad that just after 4 days, when I see "name - duskwood" or "name - dalaran" zone into the heroic, I usually inspect them to confirm that they are a 20/20/20 or 0/0/71 spec of some sort, usually a DK in spellpower gear or a ret pally in tank gear then I quit.
Bik! you're in stormstrike? Are you sure they aren't worse than Zuluhed? If they are, I'm sad. Cause my server has some scrubby folk I tell you. Are you horde?
I'm both Alliance and Horde. NE Druid and Orc shaman.
Sweet. Well if your shammy ever ends up in a group with Pushtigban(*) - Zuluhed give me a terrorist fist jab and we'll be bros and stomp some heroics.
I'm not a fan of gearscore, what happened to the good old days when you got a feel for a person's gear based on health/mana totals?
I also hate the fact that it makes you a number. Someone in full epics left a group i was in because he didnt think he could heal my tank (based on his gearscore) and my tanks gearscore is low but he is def capped and has 29k health (goood enough for heroics) and then some druid in blues came in and healed me fine.

If you try and faceroll it sure you're gonna get fucked.
Mercenary poisons need to be cured (they apply in a 3-stack) and cleansing totem is great for this
Hunter cures shots need to be dispelled (increase magic damage taken by 50% and I could've sworn I saw one that reduces healing taken by 50%)
Because of that shot typically I (as a tank) will focus picking up (use my death grip on) riflemen first since they do massive physical damage to anyone and melee tend to ignore them which is a bad combo, as that means they'll usually fuck up the healer
Mercenaries are my first focus to pick up after riflemen due to their jerkass facekicking with footmen third
Usually I'll leave the mage and priest to be DPS-Tanked&Burned which takes a bit of healing pressure off of me since the melee can be a bit spikey with damage on my DK, even with his decent gear (especially with the hug-your-back glitching)
Shackle and that pally undead fear (that's still in the game right?) work since all those ghost fuckers are undead. Shackle is bomb on mages/riflemen.
Interrupts are critical on both priests/mages in the wave section and the shadow bolt volley from shaman in the retreat section
Don't be fucking dumb. You win. Unfortunately this is the hardest one.
This. There is so much going on in those trash waves, people actually have to do stuff. Sometimes, no matter how competent some of your group is, the rest will drag you down hard there.
Or the RNG will be an asshole and give you like, 3 mages so the entire area is one big flamestrike.
As a pally healer, I feel like the one application 3-stacks of poison are bullshit. I gave up trying to cleanse them, I only bother cleansing when I see magic effects. Otherwise it's just lol HL spam and hope for the best.
Something that bugs me a little bit about the "How can you only do <X> dps in a heroic, I'm doing <Y> and I'm only lvl 7x!!!"
Keep in mind, that at 80 all of the coefficients change dramatically. So your +60 haste at lvl 74 is quite a bit more haste percentage than at 80. (Remember when you were leveling up from 70-80 in that oh-so-hawt Sunwell gear and watched your crit percentage go through the floor each time you levelled up?) Also, +hit suddenly becomes a factor at 80, whereas it most likely was not when you were in the 70's. Baby-Fresh 80's rarely have enough hit to even reliably hit equivalent level mobs.
I'm not condoning folks for doing < 1.5 dps when they start out. But, just saying that comparing lvl 7x dps to brand-new 80 dps in a heroic (where trash dies way too fast for some classes -- aff locks for instance) isn't really apples-to-apples.
When a PuG group asks for your gearscore, you know to avoid that PuG because they are clearly retarded. If they hadn't asked you wouldn't have known.
Nobody on my server used GS as far as i know. Suddenly, after cross server LFG becomes available it's starting to crop up.
Fortunately, so far, for every person mentioning GS in trade chat, there's 2 or 3 saying it's garbage.
I actually had this pop up, heh. We were in a guild raid with some puggers filling in slots, and one of them had a fit cause I have a 4400 GS, but my DPS is kinda shite for some reason (I think I'm missing something in my rotation, but not sure). He got told off somewhat loudly.

It is more like oranges to tangerines.
If you are doing 800 dps as a level 80, you have failed as a WoW player, which is saying a lot considering how easy WoW is.
It isnt hard to get hit capped before your first instance and it isnt hard to spec correctly and do a proper rotation. Do these things and you will do at least 1500 dps, which is more then people could do at 70.
Huh. That sounds like it would make the game 100000% more fun.
Well people have started reaching the "Grouped with 100 different people in heroics" mark so I am wondering if things won't go back to how they were before.
That would require Telia to stop breaking fibers on a daily basis.
It's not you. The servers are going down more than a NE Rogue on a Need button.
I'm annoyed cause I'm about 5 pugs away from my "Looking for Multitudes" (100 Puggers) acheivement, and about 26 heroics away from being done with T9 emblems (outside of rep farming). I hope to get all 26 done today, but if the servers aren't going to stay up, well, fuck.
This reminds me of yesterday's random CoS heroic. We get in and get to the point to start Arthas' looong speech at the beginning (dear god why don't they add a skip to *that* instance?), when the Paladin tank finally comments to the Priest, "Are you sure you can heal me through this?"
I look at the Priest's health/mana and he's sitting at about 14k hp and 15k mana unbuffed. Ok, that's a little concerning - glance at the Paladin's unit frame 40k hp.
...
I comment to my friend in vent whom I was running this with that the tank could probably do this without a dedicated healer... we'd likely be fine. And we pretty much were, except for one of the random spawn groups that the tank went to and then somehow didn't get aggro on everything that went and raped the healer. We finished the pull, he rezzed the priest and we continued. I *did* have to keep reminding the priest to freaking drink whenever he could, because he certainly didn't have much in the way of mana regen. Hell, I gave him a mage table to get a full stack of food just so he could keep topping his mana off. It was obvious by looking at his character model/weapon that he was a really fresh 80 though that's for sure.
We ended up beating the Infinite Corrupter with about 4 minutes remaining.
But yeah, when I get into groups, I typically just look at unit frames to see hp/mp totals to see if there's anything particularly out of the ordinary.
Of course, even that isn't exactly foolproof. Got H HoR yesterday, I don't recall what HP the warrior tank had, probably like 36-37k unbuffed, I know he had the tanking mace from one of the new instances. We start the event and try the alcove strat, and wipe. We discuss some things to do differently, I notice the ret paladin is doing like 5.7k and suggest the tank put Vigilance on him. The druid healer wanted Vigilance instead, though I explained that 10% of the 5.7k ret pally's DPS threat was much greater than 10% of the druid's healing threat.
At which point the warrior tank informs us that he doesn't have Vigilance. Ok, what? So the druid starts inspecting him and finally says, "Your spec is terrible, you don't have Anticipation, you don't need Armored to the Teeth...", and the warrior tank replies, "Oh, I PvP in this spec."
We tried once more, got past the first wave I think, then wiped and broke up. Your fucking PvP spec isn't really appropriate for tanking H HoR then, is it?
Yea, I have to admit that while I absolutely *love* the new lfg tool, it has really opened my eyes to how bad some people can be at this game Have had some really remarkable pug's here recently (good and horrible).
All in all though: 3.3 == win!

If you say "plz" because it is shorter than "please" then I'll say "no" because it is shorter than "yes".
My hunter needs a good replacement mail bracer and cloak. Which one of the new instances should I be doing for those? I didn't see any cloaks or bracers on the Tier vendors.
Edit: Correction, I see there's one on the T10 vendor. But I'm aiming for something I could, in theory, get this month.
Anyone have a general reading on how long it takes for players(non hunter, DK, feral druid) to level to 70 these days? I'd make a random guess of 7 days, hopefully it's less than that.
Bitches can't get enough of my leg armors. I guess it is because there is new content so people are getting new pants left and right. I can't buy enough borean leather to keep up. It's super profitable now that you can buy six stacks of borean leather instead of two arctic furs.

I've sold probably 20 or so Icescales in the week this patch has been out. The first time I hit the AH, they were posted for 300-400g of which 5 folk posted 1-ofs. Which, if I posted that amount as well, I'd be waiting it out for the sales.
So I post 5 @ 175g. They all sold within the hour.
I know the idea is to make money, and there's lots of people who think that high price = best price. But, seriously, look at your investment cost and cost of crafting. Raise it by 50-75 pts based on the market. There's your best profitability because you can sell scads and scads and scads at that price. Not just 1 to the uber-hardcore raider that HAS to have the enchant RIGHT NOW and not bother getting his own mats.
And to the dude dealing with the extreme AH-camper...
Whenever you go back, under cut HIM by 20-25%. Drive the goddam prices so low he leaves. If you're forced to sell at a loss for the day or 2 you need to get him out of that market, it'll pay for itself if you consider the loss in auction deposits you're losing playing his own game with you.

Actually (and here's a hint to really bad players lurking in the forum), A LOT of people forget to gear for hit when they ding 80. If you keep all that SP/Haste/Crit gear on, and don't switch out for Hit, your DPS will hit the floor. Being at or near the hit cap is a remarkable increase in DPS at level 80, and someone who doesn't know this will be loathed to give up a chunk of Crit or Haste (because you don't really see a change on your paperdoll numbers) for +hit gem/trinket/"downgrade".
You would be surprised at the sheer number of fresh 80's, or even some folks with purples, who are completely ignorant of how important +hit really is.
IMHO, when you hit 80, your first move should be buying http://www.wowhead.com/?item=42129 with some honor points. 49,600 is not a lot to get if you do WG a few times and finish the PVP quests, and +95 hit is very significant to a fresh level 80.

Gems? Dig up the recipies for the transmutes and corner the market on those.

Because, really, these should really really be going down in price. Abyss Crystals, Dream Shards, Inifinite Dust and Comsic Essences are going to be dropping like a stone with the LFD tool and the D/E option for drops. You should be able to drive the price down enough to still be profitable to you, and if he's buying them off of you - you still made money, right? Instead of selling to a person who's using it, you're selling to a dude who's going to relist it....at which point you begin driving the price down like mad again until he buys yours.
It's simply the best way to deal with a 1 copper undercutting AH-camper. Drive it so low he's spending more time running back and forth from the mailbox and the AH that his gold/hour drops to insignificant levels while your's spikes by only relisting once or twice a day.
just sell them lower than his so you still make profit
People miss the part where he literally sits in the AH 24/7 checking for undercuts every ten seconds.
What you do is see if he is using a mod to automatically undercut you like that - post something you don't mind losing at a very low price - if he undercuts that, buy it and cancel your auction. If he doesn't honestly I usually just say screw it can try to sell a few days later.
