Except for being stiffed on the job thing. And the whole "our house is being auctioned in February" thing.

So like, this is a really weird thing to ask on the forum but I'm doing it because I really don't want to move back to Texas (which is the only option I have). Does anyone who lives in Portland have space for me to rent?

I'm still trying to hammer out finding a job. Even if I found one tomorrow, I doubt I'd be in a situation come February 10th to have my own place to move into. I don't want to go back to being the guy who lives with mom. I already did that for 3 years and it was shit.

    you could try PMing sami -- he's living in a roommate situation I think, and he might know somebody who's got space to rent

    What do you want for a job? Just out of curiousity. I know someone who works for a placement firm in Portland. Sets up people with a lot of temp work, etc.
