So I'm having an urge to draw. Specifically, I want to draw superheroes.
I'm looking for pictures of overly exaggerated bodies, in particular - the segmentation of muscles, for instance, makes it easier (or at least more fun) to draw. I kind of like how Batman (or Captain America, or Spiderman, or Wolverine, etc) is so buff his outfit outlines his physique, for instance.
Any key words I should try using in Google (comic book or cartoon image isn't going far)? With so many film adaptations of popular comicbook characters, it's harder to find images that aren't photos.
Something kinda like this, maybe. I'm hoping for some images where the person is static.
Also, I'm drawing males. I'm not yet ready (or willing) to draw females yet. I really enjoyed drawing characters from Dragon Ball Z years ago - long after I was done with the show - and want to start drawing a more realistic human body (mostly the face is the issue with DBZ characters, and I'm not sure how proportional their bodies are...). Before that I drew Sonic (
Spaz always did awesome covers for that comic!) and Megaman X characters. I must've been in middle school back then!
It's all in the name of fun. I'm not trying to be a great artist or anything! Just desiring to draw some superheroes. Maybe after finding an image I love, l can find a comic book artist that I like and find a page of his illustrations.

Also, and I know you're in it for fun and not to be some "great artist", but How to Draw the Marvel Way is worth checking out. Lots of great superhero drawings by John Buscema (#18 on that list) and other greats, but on top of that it does cover a lot of fundamental drawing principles in a pretty easy to comprehend format. Not necessary if all you're aiming to do is copy other people's pictures more or less directly, but if you're inventing your own poses/actions, not having a basic knowledge/reference towards construction/form/perspective is going to make things a lot more difficult, trust me. It's pretty cheap and can be found in most bookstores, so at least try leafing through it next time you're in one.
Also, for the love of God, don't use any Rob Liefeld drawings for reference.

And last but not least.....
Also Comic Art Communities' Gallery should prove helpful.
Or just type in any superhero name in google and do a image search.
Look at some of his stuff on his website.
