AVP 2010 Feb 2nd banned in Australia?

Hello everyone Ive been told by my local EBgames in Australia that AVP has been banned and that Sega/Rebillion will not make a censored version (their qoute apparently) "to appeal to goverments who decide that adults cant make their own choices about their own entertainment". Which I guess I agree with, Im going to pre-order this from Play Asia, Im just wondering how many other people in my situation where a siginificant majority of the games you want to play are ending up in the "banned" group due to Australia's lack of a R18 Category for games, causing you to get the game anyway from overseas? I should point I asked the Attonery-Generals office about this and was told that the reason there is not a R18 Category was to protect children. Which strikes me as rather insulting and ridiculous but blargh. Um Do you think its ok for me to post the letter I got from the AG's office on these forums? I can scan it in and post it I guess via imageshack or somthing.

PS-Sorry if I missed this topic already covered or if this forum isnt the correct one.

Cheers all,

:)

I wasn't interested in this game until I heard Rebellion was working on it. My ears perked up a little because Rebellion also worked on Evil Genius, which I'm enjoying right now thanks to the Steam sale.
