Here's a program/site for all you borderlands pc players out there that gearbox recently twittered about (tweet).
It's kind of half program and half web site and my hope that it will give players more reason to continue playing the game to show off the great loot that they find.
Many of you already know that it's a pain to share the item cards you save on the forums because of the size of a .bmp file and the huge grey border around the image.
This site will allow you to select 1 or more item cards and will automatically trim off the grey area and compress the image BEFORE it uploads to the server. So you don't have to wait for huge file uploads.
Then you can export your item card to a number of image formats like .png, and .jpg to make it much easier for sharing on the forums.
You can even convert it into an animated .gif!
There's of other complicated stuff it can do too, like read the manufacturer, item type, and rarity to sort all your images for you. Can create categories for your characters to display on trading forums too.
I hope gearbox comes out with some DLC to really increase the re-playability of this game, but in the meantime I hope this site can keep peoples interest a little longer
