Tacky Christmas Sweater Suggestions

So my company has a tacky Christmas sweater competition next Friday. Sounds fun. However, I want to kick it up a notch. I want to dress up as a character from a show or movie who was dressed in something like the aforementioned tacky sweater.

Problem is that I can't seem to think of one. I'm sure I'll pull out Christmas Vacation this weekend and see if I can come up with some ideas, but I would appreciate any other suggestions from folks.

And it being obscure is ok.

How about dressing up as the father from Better Off Dead, with that aardvark jacket?

I haven't seen all the Office episodes, but does Micheal or Dwight ever wear something hideous to their Christmas party?

Yes on tonights episode of the office, several characters had sweaters bearing moose on them.

Ralph Lauren sells one that is actually quite stylish and on sale:

Cheaper options would be at club monaco, they have this fair isle turtle neck that looks quite bad, couple it with a non-matching tie and you will have a fiasco going on. Tweed pants too.

You could always go all A Christmas Story and wear a pink bunny suit.

I'm sometimes grumpy and random, feel free to overlook the strange man in the corner.

This might work. I've got some old glasses that would help me pull off the Ralphie look. But I don't know if that really fits in the tacky sweater category. :)

If your boss says anything, just tell him you'll shoot his eye out.
