So I've moved to Hawaii and while eventually it might be possible for us to stick with one car, for now we really need a second. I've been sifting through ads on Craigslist but I'm a bit wary of buying a car not from a dealership. I know I want something relatively small, cheap, and reliable but outside of that I'm honestly uncertain of what would be the best fit. Any advice would be appreciated.
