google talk minimizes games

Every time I get a new chat message in gTalk if the chat window isn't already open, it minimizes whatever game I am playing. This is especially aggrivating in MW2, where it then disconnects me because I lag out.

Any advice?

    Context-switching from a full screen game? The obvious things are leave the message window open or go offline on gTalk. Depending on your messaging client (I know Miranda supports this), you could also set it so that new messages won't pop up a new window (you have to acknowledge the message for the window to pop up).
