I think the reason for all the bulkness was the transition from stylized comic art to "realistic" 3D graphics. The TAS Batman doesn't look steroidy even if he is a big guy, because he's just some sparse lines and lots of shadowing. But when you turn that into something that resembles a "realistic" human being, it looks ripped. Same with Gordon. It's not really a problem, just an interesting issue.

and RE: criticism, well, complain as much as you want, what do I care. But it's funny to watch someone write passionate raging posts about those silly pods. Nitpicking with feeling.

Fair point. Just look at DCU Online's art, some of Jim Lee's character designs look awkward as hell in 3D (Joker in particular).

The only problem I have with Batman's character model is the ridiculously long ears. They work in Tim Sale or Kelley Jones' artwork but don't in 3D.

As for the pods, yeah, I still don't really see any problem with them. They're incredibly easy to avoid or kill.

I prefer the longer Batman ears to the little nubs he has in Hush or the like. They really should include an unlockable Adam West model, then he can have the shorter ones.

Also my only regret for not buying the PS3 version of AA is missing out on the chance to shoot Gordon in the face. Nothing against Gordon, it just looks hilarious.

So, where is the specific point in the game where if you go through the one door, you have to finish out the game before you get all the Riddler challenges? I remember mention of it in the last thread, it was either sometime before you face Ivy or when you get invited to the party.

I know, but I'd rather throw Nigma in jail before I finish off the game. Let's just blame it on me being a completionist. I'm about to go to the garden, and I already have everything up to that point that doesn't require Ivy doing her thing.

EDIT Nevermind, found it. You can go as far as defeating Ivy, and then you can run free as long as you don't go into the Party at West.

Seriously. A lot of the inmates are huge dicks. Gotham should really reconsider its death penalty. They're always escaping and murdering guys.

So those new challenge rooms (new to me anyway), were pretty fun. Had a bit of trouble finding the best way to take out the one red shirt thug in Hot House Prey. I still don't like having to go fast in predator rooms, I enjoy it much more when I can take my time.

Okay, so he traces. And half of what he traces is porn face. But most of the time his stuff looks half decent and the people don't look like mutants.

As for this new Batman, I really hope they have some more playable characters. I might be one of the few that would like to play as Robin.

He traces porn. He traces a lot of porn, and a lot of the time it's very very obvious. Uncomfortably obvious. I wish I could find the image, I forget which super hero it was, but it's very obvious that he'd traced an image of some chick getting nailed sideways when the hero in question was supposed to be off her balance due to the ship getting attacked or something.

I kinda wish there were missions you got to play as the Joker instead of just rooms of baddies to beat up within a time limit or something. I wanna test out his abilities and I can't if I have to worry about points or a time limit.

I still think the continue screen you get as the Joker is really cheesy.

the funny thing about the picture. If they moved caps head/neck to the right a bit it would be a decent (still not great but also not an unholy abomination) angled view instead of placing caps neck on his right shoulder making it easily the worst side view I've seen
